New Windows 2008 R2 PC Build! (i7-13700k, ASUS Z790-P Prime WiFi, RTX 3090 Ti, 1TB Samsung 990 Pro)

A couple of weeks ago, I went to Micro Center, and picked out the ASUS Z790 Prime-P/Intel Core i7-13700K/32GB RAM combo, and I also picked up a 1TB Samsung 990 Pro. Online, I got a DeepCool 360mm AiO even though I don't plan on overclocking right now, since my 12900k could not run stable at full load even at it's stock turbo speed, and I also bought a TP-Link PCIe Ethernet adapter, since I like to have 2 network adapters for virtual machines and whatnot. On eBay, I found a zotac 3090 ti for $900, so I ended up buying that, as it is the fastest GPU you can officially use on windows 7/2008R2. I would have preferred an EVGA one, but they are just too expensive. I got a windows server 2008 r2 all in one (all editions) ISO from archive.org, and I decided to just use the datacenter edition. I used the simplix update pack to slipstream USB3 and NVME drivers into the ISO, and so far I have not had any problems, other than the missing chipset drivers, which are not that big of a deal. I decided to reuse some parts, such as my corsair case from 2016, that I bought with my 6700k, my blu ray drive, and my corsair ax1600i power supply. I refuse to buy a brand new case without 5.25 bays.

very good! this is more powerful than mine. my windows 7 setup is still going good, maybe when i need to i might upgrade to the 14900k
