Yeah, the ballistic guard dog still struggles a bit against the sheer numbers terminids can muster. Despite this I believe it's always been a slept-on choice against bots, mostly because it's a devastator headshot machine, also the better stopping power can help you not get shanked in the back by melee troopers. It doesn't overshoot things so with the ammo buff is even better in that respect and it can still shoot at enemies if you're ducking behind cover. I've found it pairs insanely well with the Punisher Plasma, allowing you to stun lock all kinds of devastators for you puppy go finish them off.
I still want the customization ability to add the rifle I want to the Guard Dog. Can you imagine the Liberator Concussive pumping out AOE pushback while you are DPSing with the Adjudicator/Sickle? Or stopping stalkers/hunters mid-jump, giving you the opportunity to save a teammate or yourself!
@@yeetmaster3360It's not the damage, it's actually higher than the standard Liberator, it's the fire rate which is 320 Vs 640. It needs a fire rate buff
5:05 - That is EXACTLY why I don't waste my time with the 500KG anymore. It landed straight underneath the BT, you couldn't get a better placed shot, and yet it just walked it off like it wasn't even a thing. I would rather run OPS or the normal Eagle Airstrike, at least those are consistent.
It’s amazing how letting it reload from ammo boxes makes it so much more usable. Actually quite fond of it now with the railgun VS bots. Though it feels like it spends more time reloading than shooting with how slow the animation is and small the magazine is. I’ve noticed it also semi-frequently headshots berserkers and devastators due to being elevated as well, which is nice when it happens.
DUDE! You definietly should try out the laser weapons! They got inadvertly buffed when fire changes happened and they can now set enemies on fire! HOLY GUACAMOLY they are good now, might i say new potential meta?
Guard Dog should have a Stalwart not a Liberator, the firing time is too short and constantly interrupted by reloads that take too long. Still not worth it againt the Rover, until the incoming nerf that is. At that time both are going to be worthless.
Does it have less mag capacity than the liberator's 45 rounds? at 6:37 it fires a burst that last around 2 seconds, turn to another target and fires for another 2 seconds and then has to reload. At least it doesn't entirely run out of ammo so quickly like it did before the buff I guess
Yes, but when it does, it just straight up kills you because it hovers around head height and fires in bursts. It's pretty rare, though. I've only seen it happen once.
How realistic Arrowhead, Chargers can run through Impalers now. But fire 🔥 bounces off armour !? Umm realistic would be the bugs on fire and not moving forward unaffected. Fire makes any living organism stop and retreat. Stop this realistic nonsense with the fire weapons , it B.S. In fact it should make them stun locked and flinch all at one and slowly cook and die. Arrowhead has created the most unrealistic fire in videogame history . It's a joke.
They could balance it by having the armor become less effective as it gets hotter. That way you can't kill chargers too fast, but they take damage rapidly as time goes on.
@@ragnoxis05 Honestly i would make sense, explosive and fire weapons could decrease the integrity of the armor to the point they could break by primary weapons, of course doing it with fire would take a while and as for explosives you would need quite a few, depending on the classification of the armor, like medium or heavy

I think the liberator concussive just needs a larger blast radius and it would be fine
@@Background_Gaming. the damage is the problem, not the stagger.

Guard dog targets weak points which makes it perfect for assaulting automaton bases and fighting bots overall.

how much ammo does it have? 5 rounds? it attaches and detaches from the backpack more than doing anything else
Pretty sure it's just a liberator rifle strapped to a drone. Those mags empty fast!
@@generic_sauce It also has less ammo than a regular liberator lol.

Very nice gameplay helldiver !

Of the puppies this one is my favorite. Pretty accurate and a little less team killy. I feel even with the ammo buff it's a bit hungry lol

For some reason, it only has 30 rounds in each magazine.
@@petty5709 I count its only fire 29 bullets, last bullet was saved so it doesnt have to cock the liberator
My imagination or does it spend most of its time just chilling and reloading?
2:09 😂 holy shit , i don't think chargers are supposed to faze through impalers
Charger jump scare
Maybe it's how chargers are born
