Hello, yes it is very difficult to hit. There are beautiful Products but the important is that it feels to You , that it favors You. I have had surprises.Products beautiful , with colors wonderful but very unflattering, and others I have said what a most absurd purchase I have made and after how good they feel to me , like Fragances. Well the important is make it flattering, and We need to try.Thank you very much for your Videos ❤
I regret purchasing the Chanel single eyeshadow...wish I would have seen your swatch video first! Chanel has been successful in creating urgency around purchasing new releases for fear of missing out, unfortunately.
Well done on your restraint and honesty with yourself! I don’t even want to think what my make up purchases are adding up to 🫣 I half regret the Byredo palette. I think I got it because I regretted passing on the Remembrance last year, which had my colours. The formula is a bit thicker than I like in the satins and mattes, and many colours are too metallic for me. The other issue is the temperature : too cool with few colours that work to balance this, so it can quickly look too much or muddy on my eyes. I enjoy individual shadows but need to be very careful about application. The meteorites were my first luxury purchase many years ago, (and I loved them) but they ended up irritating my skin and eyelashes whenever I used them, I wondered if this was from the fragrance.
I skipped the Byredo primarily because it was out of stock when I desired it. Now I decided to skip it for the same reasons your mentioned: it’s a palette of one and done shades. Also, I own already the mid row. I swatched it in person a few days ago and it’s too metallic for me. So I think I can save that money. I like the old meteorites that I have purchased during last holidays. The fragrance seems more delicate. It may be the same concentration as the new ones but it’s definitely lighter. Lesson learned: no added fragrance is the way to go for me
Hi, could you do a video on your Takeda brushes please? I just saw one of your older videos on pencil brushes and you mentioned a big Takeda order then. I am thinking of ordering some of their brushes but there are not that many videos with feedback on TH-cam.
Thank you for this video and your deliberations on each items. What did you take with you on your business trip? Do you have dedicated makeup for the office?
I did decide to skip the Byredo palette, but kept thinking about it long after it was sold out. Luckily I found it still available in a store in my country (Norway). I rarely expect to find anything in this brand desert. I cross my fingers that the formula works for me. I have been disappointed by a lot of hyped up high shimmer formulas from Indie brands lately. many of them crease and look like an oily mess on my lids. There are some eyeshadows from Kiko and Sisley that are very tempting.
Let me know how you like the Byredo one. I’m also still thinking about it. But right now I have things higher in my wishlist and I’m a bit overwhelmed by all the purchases I did. I need to slow down more 😘🤗
@@bobmindset I got it today. I went right for the blues, the only matt grey blue, the sky blue and the dark blue. I only worn these for about three hours, no crease yet, but it's still early to say how well they are wearing. They were easy to put on which is what I expect. I haven't collected palettes for very long, I bought some dirt cheap ones in 2018. In 2019 I got my first high end palette which was Anastasia Beverly Hills' Subculture, which is very pigmented, after that I mostly bought from Jeffree Star, some more Anastasia and Lime Crime (which seem to have less pigmentation). I probably started buying luxury in 2022, Isamaya's two Industrial palettes. Some early Pat McGrath palettes, and Natasha Denona. Not as a big luxury collection as yours. JSC and Anastasia have been my reference to how I judge other brands palettes. They don't need a extremely sticky primer or glitter glue, Smachbox 24 hour photo finish primer or Urban Decay Anti-aging eyeshadow potion have been good enough. If a shimmer shadow need glitter glue, then that is a big minus from me. I bought Ensley Reign's Cold Moon palette (lux price), it was the reason I thought I should skip the Byredo one. The shimmers from the Cold Moon palette don't sit well on my lids, they are also difficult to put on. I should have bought the Mineralscape palette right away instead, even though it's not high shine. I'll be using the palette through the week until I have tried them all. This is my first Byredo palette, so I don't know how it's compared to their other palettes.
a video on how you depot your sisley and kiko singles would be fun to see. i agree that the "value" of a palette vs singles will always be there, which is why i think people often get them over singles. the byredo 18-pan formula is really stunning, the sparkles are sophisticated. hard to describe to another formula but i only knew this after using them. if you don't like as many cool tones tho you may not enjoy mineralscapes. you mentioning how strong the fragance of the guerlain meteorites is helps me move on from it too as it was on my wishlist, i was just waiting for a tin release that i liked.
Congratulations on over 1000 subscribers!!! Well done!! 🤩🤩🤩🥳🎉👏🙌🏼 I love, love, love that Givenchy palette. It was my surprise love of the year so far! The formulas and the shades are fantastic. It is the first Givenchy eyeshadow I’ve ever had. I will be looking to see what color stories they put out in the future! I like the 3 categories you put things in: love it/great purchase/would buy again, could have skipped the purchase but like it, regrets. That’s how I think about my purchases too! I really love the Byredo big palettes, but I understand what you mean about the formula. I can’t wait to see how you arrange your Sisley palette!!
Congrats! You 100% deserve it! I have a few beauty regrets of this year so far. Makeup-wise it's PMG Lunar nightshade: I'm not too fond of that formula, and I knew it, but I still got it lol + teals look horrible on me. Once again congrats and wishing you and your channel the best!
Thanks dear! ❤️ I decluttered my Lunar Nightshade for the same reason: that teal looked horrible on me. But it was a 2023 purchase so it didn’t belong to this video.
Bellissimo video ! Xoxo NOB
Congratulations on 1000 subscribers! 🎉I admire your courage in assessing your makeup indulgences. As for me, ignorance is bliss 😅
😇 Better to be ignorant sometimes
Please do a video on baked gelee products.
It’s in my plans! I may do one for eyes and one for face products

I’m curious how the Sisley shadows can be depotted. I’d love to depot the one I have👍

Can you please do a video on the Sisley shadows you got?
Ok! I put it on the list of videos to record
