I have the synthetic 01 and 03 and you are spot on in your comparisons and description of the bristles. I find myself reaching for the concealer brush much more frequently than the very popular BK Beauty equivalent equivalent (A506?). The middle brush looks like a BK counterpart as well, and I use that one from cream and liquid blush. I like the two that I have well enough that I ordered the set of three this week and am looking forward to trying the middle brush. I was very pleasantly surprised by their synthetic brush offering, as I've found the natural hair brushes ro be hit or miss for my tastes.

Thanks for reviewing these brushes. But I have very bad experience with big Rephr brushes with like #24 natural hair. They all still shedding. Even my dupes from AliExpress is better quality. I’m just really disappointed. So, from my experience with Rephr I won’t buy anything from them. 😢

Why every unique and good product from Chantecaille is limited edition??? I was lucky enough to buy Le Chrome Eye Duo Grand Canal Laguna/Rialto and this duo has beautiful grey silver shade and greyish gold shade. That’s why I wasn’t interesting enough to buy this duo eyeshadow palette because it’s not the same color story and quality that Chantecaille can create. But I really glad that PT brought something special this holiday season. Thanks for sharing with us your thoughts and experience 🙏🏻❤️🙌

Every time I watch one of your videos, I think I know what I'm going to purchase with my Christmas money. Trouble is, then I watch another one of your videos and my mind changes again!! Decisions, decisions....😂

I picked up an oversized baked palette (I really love the whitish-silver topper with multicolored sparkles), nail polish, and lip lacquer from Chanel; two holiday lipsticks from Dior; the Patrick Ta Still in the Club eyeshadow duo; the Chantecaille Lip Cristal; and the Hourglass Dragon Palette in Lotus packaging. I think that covers everything I got specifically from the holiday releases. I was considering picking up the same Chantecaille duo, but I think I’d rather go for an Elephant single instead. I really need to be more mindful of what I’m adding to my makeup collection-at this point, it’s becoming too much to handle.

Ok. Curious. I saw that Pupa Milano has baked eyeshadows. Have you tried them?

These do look pretty especially the taupe one but I’m going to wait. I swear PT names his makeup after text messages. I’m good for the winter months. Saving up for the spring so I can see what Byredo is going to do or maybe someone else with a beautiful palate. Always something new around the corner. Thank you.

The grey in the chantecaille duo looks very similar to the one in the subliminal (mothership I) path McGrath pallet

Yea, the more creamy mattes like Natasha Denona vanish from my oily lids so quickly

The bottom shade in patrick ta brown duo is dupe for the satin brown in mothership 3, they both have pinkiness to them have similar soft metalic satin finish

When you add water with the baked Gelle the color is so beautiful. They go on like butter.

All your picks are so beautiful :) Are you still considering the Chanel oversized gold palette? There have been a few reviews out. I was excited for it but unsure now.

The gold in DR1 might be more neutral in tone and similar to the first duo shade you mentioned. It is a smooth texture though but I am sure with some layering from the DR2 shade you might get a similar effect. I usually achieve the effect of the second duo shade by layering the rosy brown from Body Heat with Platinum Bronze from Pat.

And the brown I think is similar to Natasha Denona I need a nude

Mhh. don't think people are missing anything. Glad I didn't buy any duos. Subtle differences you see on your arm when you put shades right next to each other searching for the difference don't show up or matter on the eye at all. Which is the end purpose? Nor does slight differences in intensity of shimmer stay that different throughout the day either w wear. At least on my eyes the particles that add extra sparkle dull or plain disappear over the hours so that for most parts these shadows will end up looking the same. The difference I see in the first hour or so but what is that worth?

Amanda Z swatched the top shade of Still At The Club next to the Charlotte Tilbury single in Smoky Quartz, and they seem incredibly similar. Also, Sephora’s single in Shock Choc looks similar to the bottom shade. Keep in mind, though, that neither the CT or the Sephora shadows are baked gelée, it’s just a similarity in color and look, not formula. I’m torn because I really like Still At The Club, but I own the CT and Sephora products and I don’t use them enough, so I can’t justify getting the Patrick Ta one.

I absolutely love these Patrick Ta duos. I have the brown Still in the Club, and the silver and gold We Need Better Lighting. I’m getting the gold duo you have from Santa. I think they are unique and -even better- they do not give me any fallout during the day. Like zero fallout. I find that amazing. I’m reaching for them all the time!

I bought the same shades and returned both of them. I couldn’t make a look with the lighter duo no matter how hard I tried and the darker duo wouldn’t blend out.

I'm going to buy Still At The Club and will be interested to compare the bottom shade to Blitz Brown from the PMG Interstellar Icon quad. Btw, my conspiracy theory that the lab that makes the baked shades is Intercos Europe is getting stronger - they make for Chantecaille, PMG, and Tom Ford's parent company, Estee Lauder. Couldn't find any info about Patrick Ta, though. Here's hoping Patrick Ta bring out more colours in this formula :)

I'm glad you are happy with these duos, as I mentioned on your previous videos I got the same 2 duos and I'm obsessed. My favorite way to wear the gold ones is to use the Lisa Eldridge liquid silk in Phoebe as a base and then use the mapplely gold shade on top with a few flakes of the more yellowy gold shade and looks stunning.

This is very intensive , intricate , way to decide which elite beauty collection or release to be a smart consumer as the vast diversity of additions to a arsenal ! So many beautiful choices as WE don’t need them all. 💖

Mothership X will have the best gold tones based on what you like. I don’t love the matte shades for me so I bring in a Viseart or other good matte in shades I prefer and get beautiful not too yellow not orange at all looks.

I do like the versatility to have in my compact able stash that I can carry for any occasions to add that bit of a magic whisper of a special moment. , however it’s not a knock- out kiss of sparkle glitz of sophistication I was hoping for. Glad I got them on sale with a gift of purchase for that love me gift to myself. Purchased (3) still at the club, better lighting, and talk to the team. Keeping my fingers crossed they don’t fall - out of the embossing component ( like previously holiday palette ) or 👩🏼‍✈️better yet No mold. Nice addition t my arsenal as I’m a professional in the travel industry that lives out of my bag. 👜✨

These PT duo's are lovely. I'm very happy with my purchase. Have 4 of them except the pink duo.

I underestimated my duo in 'still at the club' bc i compared it to Victoria Beckham in Mink and they're darn close so i thought i overshopped but this is actually a bit prettier, more convenient to use vs the glass jar and comes with that beautiful (luminous) matte brown for more variety.

I think the closest dupe for the upper shade in the Patrick Ta duo Do You Know Who I Am is the gold shade from the PMG Moonlit Seduction palette. Of course, they’re only similar in terms of shade, not formula. I’m sorry I haven’t been commenting much lately-life has been very busy. Im really surprised it doesnt come with a plastic clamshell case like the CDP ones have , u think they would want to keep it safe and fresh sitting on shelfs and in transit.

I love that KIKO is doing the same textures as Pat...with the quints and the baked gelee singles. They are a solid brand and one that I still find is very much underrated. Love their eyeshadow sticks!

This is very interesting to see because i really love Natasha Denona eyeshadows, I have a few quints and the INAN midi, and they are some of my favorite. I wonder if it is because my eyelids are more on the oilier side, because I don't notice any texture enhancing on my eyes, and in fact the longer they were the better it looks in my opinion. Thanks for sharing your experience and observations, it got me very intrigued.

I have the same 2 PT duos you got and even though I didn't used to like golden shadows the golden duo has changed my mind, I really love how they look on my eyes, especially with a beige neutral shadow underneath.

I wish we could get the holiday Kiko products in the US. That green is beautiful! I love the Patrick Ta duos. I’m have the brown duo and the duo that’s very sparkly that’s silver and gold. On me, I get zero fallout through the day when I wear the very sparkly shades. I was so shocked! I am hoping Santa puts the one with the 2 golds in my stocking for Christmas.

I love the RMS blushes but I LOVE LOVE LOVE the bronzers. I have Beachwalk Betty, Malibu Muse, and Tan Lines. It was the first time I’ve ever bought a bronzer formula in more than one shade. I loveAddiction Tokyo single shadows, highlighters, and blushes. I especially like that you can put the blushes (and single shadows) in bigger compacts, but the single compacts they come in are substantial and nice if you want to keep them as singles (unlike the flimsy single packaging you get from Surratt) I do wish they (and Surratt) would do magnetic pans and not adhesive. I look forward to your complete thoughts about your AT purchases!

Hi, I love your videos. I have a question 😊 - I want to try certain luxury make up like Prada eyeshadows, Hermes eyeshadows, Surratt eyeshadows and blush, etc. but I want to get the refills. I see that you do the same so how would you suggest for me to store them? I do not have old palettes or anything like that. I think I will have to buy something so I was wondering if you can give me advise on what would work well?
