- Hi friends! I have been very overwhelmed with my eyeshadow palette collection lately, so I needed to declutter! Thought I'd take you along with me. Hope you enjoy! :)

Girl, you decluttered 1/3 of your pallets, I think that’s amazing! So many pretty ones!

You should put the palettes that are meaningful and/or nostalgic in a keepsake box for memories. That way it’s not in your inventory count but you still get to keep them. Like the Raw Beauty Kristi palette 😊❤️💄
My friend on here, Kirsten’s makeup vanity does that! I should do that. Cuz I won’t use it probably but still don’t want to get rid of it. And I don’t want to regret anything like decluttering the first naked palette 😅💔 haha
Decluttering 46 is a 35% reduction. I think that's pretty good!

I think we have similar preferences when it comes to eyeshadow formula and I found out for myself last year that Japanese high-end eyeshadows are absolutely perfect for me. Not too pigmented, yet different textures to play around with and perfect size for me (usually quads). If you’re ever interested to branch out, I can highly recommend Addiction Tokyo, Suqqu and Lunasol etc. The Addiction sparkly eyeshadows are divine (impactful yet never too much). I love Mariage and Snow Storm the most :)
Oh and I forgot to say that I love how realistic you are about what you own. I’m trying to get better at it, too. I currently have around 150 palettes (95% small ones) and it’s just too much. I hope to go down to less than 50 😊

Hi Emily! I believe Alter Ego “Coastal” is duping the HUDA Rose Quartz, not Mercury Retrograde. And I’m with you on Sigma. I had two of their palettes but I just didn’t love the formula. What’s Up Beauty has a VERY nice formula. If you like lighter, sparkly shades, you’ll probably enjoy the shimmers. I want to try Glaminatrix so badly. Their shimmers and color stories are lovely. 😅 I enjoyed this video and know it’s a time investment. Thank you!

I heard quite a few people not liking the sigma formula. Most influencers seem to love it. The discrepancy makes me side eye and pass.
I think it was supposed to be a dupe for Huda Naughty palette but I might be wrong🤔
I want to try Whats Up but do not like Sigma
Yes, that's right - I almost bought it but didn't, but I remember Jen Phelps saying it was a dupe for Rose Quartz

I agree with you about Sigma. I have Cor de Rosa and Ambiance and the mattes are not easy to blend and they get patchy on me. It could be my skill level but I don’t think I will buy another palette.

Don’t feel bad. I think I own over 300. Before TH-cam, I owned like 10. 😂. I have so many I can’t get rid of like Tarte’s True Blood 🩸 collaboration. Fifty shades collaboration with Makeupforever. All Twilight collabs, etc. Then, I have all my elegant and expensive and beautiful palettes. Cheap ones. I’ve kept them all. I have eyeshadow palettes everywhere.

the soft glam broke my heart. my all time fave palette lol i don't get the sigma hype either. i hate their formula lol i decluttered all the palettes i had from them.
Aww I know! It’s a pretty palette I just don’t use it very often sadly haha
I had the same issue w it. It is good quality. It is pretty. BUT it looked so flat on me. My daughter is much darker than me & it looks great on her so I gave it to her
Soft glam is my all time favorite palette over all my Natasha Denona, Pat Macgrath, high end eyeshadow pallets. I just bought a back up as I thought I can’t not have it. So funny how we all have different preferences.

OMG when you said Rodin I kept thinking you said Rodent! I thought wow, they are going out on a limb with naming these days! I had to pause it to see what it was really called. ;-) I think you did a great job getting rid of 1/3, and anyone you gave those to is so lucky. I'll bet if you do this again in three months or so you'll have a clearer idea of whether to keep some of the ones you were uncertain about.

Sigmas 9 pan palettes are better than their bigger ones in my opinion. I stopped buying the bigger palettes cause they just don’t work for me for some reason

I love Decluttering Videos. Some these palettes bring me down memory lane. 3:23 I like the colors and I don’t think I was going to use it as well.
4:19 I just like the shimmer of them 🤣💀 5:00 mango is my favorite.
6:19 they all look similar. That why I passed on it.
14:50 I need to declutter some of mines now.
35:30 and 36:11 my holygrail!
40:20 it reminds me of a Princess that’s why I like it.

It seems like everyone and their mother has The Child palette and loves it! Its been in my basket for ages but imy trying so hard not to buy makeup right now. I have the fear of it going away before I am ready to buy it 🤔

Sigma eyeshadows are meant for natural hair brushes.
I’m not sure which of my brushes, if any, are natural hair. So I’ll have to keep that in my if I buy any again in the future. Thank you for letting me know!
😩 wish I knew that when I was in High school saving up for the palettes brushes etc. Especially ABH palettes those were the days.

Oh that's great! Last I heard they were going bankrupt or out of business but that was a year ago or so.
@@EmilysMakeupBag1 I think they did go bankrupt, but got bought out by makeup revolution? I don't think they're coming out with new products, but they still sell some of their older stuff
