Hey bob. As always, the sun gives uo some of its secrets through the filters. Don't believe i jave seen dark patches like you have there. What are they (my less than good guess is promenances or at least cooler spots)?
Could be lol No they are sun spots and yes, they are cooler (by about 3000 degrees) compared to the rest of the surface.
