Not entirely sure that we could fathom the depth of the bhakthi rasaa behind this creative outlet that has flowed out of the venerable Syaamaa Shaasthri toward the Divine Mother but thanks to this rendition by the Sisters they showed us a glimpse of what coming a bit closer to experiencing that could look like. Saying thank you doesn't quite cut it, and just grateful that I had an opportunity to go along on this journey that was pure bliss. Peace.

The gamakam is unbelievable with the full ardent expression of bhairavi ragam. The mridangist does a really unbelievable job of following the gamaka patterns with his expressive tonal qualities. Violinist does an unbelievable job of following the complex swarams being expressed. Unbelievable rendition of the great masterpiece of Swarajathi by Syama Sastri.
Mr.Srinivas, Pl. try to give us in future live vedio positively instead of static vedio because it is worth listening this sisters ' mesmerizing performance always. Hope you will consider my request.

Beautiful rendition. A doubt. Not sure why RaGa choose to intentionally pronounce "Kaanchi". Telugu folks refer to as "Kanchi". In tamil, referred as "Kaanchipuram". They do start off with Kanchi and switch to "Kaanchi". !!
Both are equally good in singing or even playing violin but i enjoy the elderone's traditional approach a wee bit more than youngerones experimental overtures...devine sisters if there were ever...blessed ones...showering etheral bliss.

First time im hearing Neraval and Kalpanaswaras for a Swarajathi. .. divinely rendered, majestic Alapana and the violin was pure bliss❤
