It's very heart warming and comforting to know that people from other cultures are able to enjoy and benefit from the serenity and peace Indian Classical Devotional music provides. Nowadays, most of Indian culture has adopted the bombastic modern western style of music. I want to emphasize the word modern here. I'm not saying any music is bad, but most forms of music don't provide the serene and peaceful joy that devotional Indian music provides.
Sheer magic and enchantment! This little girl has supernatural powers to make you forget the pain of existence for the duration of the perfomance. She sings like a goddess, a little Saraswati!
Uttara has also taken legacy of Unnikrishnan forward with her pure diction and flawless rendition which is typical of him...Really enjoyed listening to this

More over the clarity in voice in lower notes is extraordinary and ease with which she sung is really great and simply superb. Must appreciate recording technicians for great job done. Now onwards uttara’s performance will be reviewed with respect to this song as bench mark song in her career as an artist. The special attention given in clear pronunciation is remarkable. This is not an easy song to record and this child at this age created wonder as maata Kamakshi chosen Uttara’s voice. Great song. Keep going my child. Saraswathi anugraha praptirastu.

i recently learnt this swarajathi under the guidance of my guru, the sheer amount of vocal training and techniques required to hit those lower octave notes perfectly is a lot. very very very impressive job by uttara, listening to this gem on repeat

This song - Godess Kamakshi Kriti written by Syama Sastry in Telugu language. Sri Thyagara, Annamayya Sri Ramadasu all wrote Kritis in Telugu language. 2. Great video she has pronounced so aptly.
