Funny, the windshield washer system was one of the first things I took off of my Miata for weight reduction. It has been over 10 years and I've never missed it.
Looking at building one myself soon. Gotta ask, where did you get a low windshield like that, that is approved/has the stamp? VA is SUPER picky with windshields. And Id rather not put a full/tall windshield on as it takes away from the roadster look.

I found a custom glass shop and got the AS2 logo in the bottom left corner. It was $175
Where did you get the wind shield ?
How bout a Smyth ute. You can do a charger, vw jetta or a subaru truck conversion.

Currently I have 2 years left unless I take time off.
Even thinking about an Exocet project while being tortured for your doctorate is impressive.
