    So sad. I hope she pulls through. This is why we should all appreciate nurses! Their lives are literally on the line now. Much respect for all health care workers.

      Corporates are creating fear in order to sell products--the fear tactics or the "Culture of Fear." After 5-years, no one talks about Ebola. But now we are afraid again of Coronavirus. It is the same tactic. Nothing is going to happen. So, relax and enjoy your life.

    Is it at all possible that she may have already been infected even before caring for him in the icu? And that there really was never a real breach in protocol as they say? I did a calendar timeline of the sequence of events and she could have been in contact with an infected person in the hospital from when he first arrived...she could be the first person showing signs of symptoms...

    Why would a highly trained nurse need to call the CDC for permission to travel? She cared for Duncan...common sense should have told her not to leave the city with a temperature of any level... What was so important that she would risk infecting others?

    • @carlarteaga991
      @carlarteaga991 9 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      :) WRONG, tbonez618. The United States of America, appropriately, will lead international efforts to halt this terrible outbreak. The United States, whether you or people like you care or not, is sending troops and materials to build field hospitals in West Africa, is sending additional healthcare workers, community care kits, and badly-needed medical supplies. The United States military is coordinating its efforts to build these field hospitals, and to provide the means to bring even more supplies and healthcare workers, as quickly as possible. Confronting an outbreak like this, a situation like this one, is VERY complicated; Ebola isn't going to be stopped overnight. But, thank goodness for the energetic efforts of President Obama, and the mighty United States of America, for taking ongoing, VITAL action!

    • @Jerkingmyswag
      @Jerkingmyswag 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Carl Arteaga Okay answer me this why is america the only nation trying to "help" africa. Why did they bring the patient to a normal hospital with many other people without ebola? Why are they not stopping travel to and from africa? because hey want it to spread faster. their economy is shit and not enough jobs and fewer people will cure that problem but thye aren't going to come straight out and say yeah we are gonna kill alot of you because that would cause to much backlash so making it seem like an accident is easier.

    • @carlarteaga991
      @carlarteaga991 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      :) Pretty irrational, my name is so obnoxious it will take up the whole page and you cant do anything about it! You ought to be happy to learn what was reported a month ago. China sent a 59-member team of laboratory experts who specialize in laboratory testing, epidemiology, clinical medicine, and nursing, along with resources, to Ebola-stricken parts of West Africa. These laboratory specialists joined the 115 medical experts China had already sent to help contain this terrible epidemic. Furthermore, in early August, the Chinese government sent $5 million in medical supplies to stricken areas, supplies which included personal protective gear like gloves and glasses, along with vital medicines. Separately, you also ought to be happy to learn that most of the dozens of individuals in Dallas who had direct or indirect contact with a Liberian man who died of Ebola, who were being monitored for any signs of symptoms, were declared virus-free over the last two days, thank goodness. Thank goodness for the efforts of many, led by the mighty United States of America, to halt the spread of Ebola from Africa, to alleviate the suffering from Ebola in Africa, to STOP this terrible outbreak. And, may they SUCCEED entirely soon!
