would this work inside a car tire where a plug will not (hole to big for plug) if I use the tire for a spare?

If you drive it off road usage, it should be fine..pssst,.just fudge it and don't snitch about it ..capeesh.
How long does this product last after being installed on a tire?
At what psi should the tire stay inflated before the patch comes off?
The product is meant to be a temporary patch to get you out of a tough situation. With that said, we have customers that have run several hundred miles on the patch shown in this video.
As far as tire pressure goes, the patches can hold up to 40psi based on the severity of the damage and how well the patch is applied. We recommend reviewing the instructions carefully before applying the patch.

The department of transportation does not allow sidewall repair for any on-road vehicle. However, we do have several customers that use the patches on full-size jeeps and other full-size, off-road vehicles that are used exclusively off-road.
No . Dont use it on road vehicles . This is not a permanent repair.

Great question! Our adhesive is a cyanoacrylate which is in the same family as superglue. With that said, our formula is made specifically for a rubber to rubber application. What that means is if you were to use our kit but replace it with just a normal superglue from the store, it wouldn't work at all. (feel free to give it a shot!) Thanks for the question!
To do this on a regular car tire, you are playing with your life. Don’t gravitate to that buy a new tire.
Sorry but this is nothing more than a quick get out of a situation repair. Simply super gluing a bit of patch to the outside of a tyre is no way a viable repair, you've not repaired the inner liner which will eventually lead to casing separation and failure. Sorry but with 22 years as a commercial tyre fitter I've seen too many botch jobs go horribly wrong.
Great points, thanks for the comment. As mentioned, this is only a temporary solution and is only recommended for off-road use. With all of that said, we have customers that have reported leaving patches on for 2+ years and driven hundreds of miles with a tire repaired in this fashion. Again though, we only recommend this patch as a temporary, off-road solution.
