Josh you're really good at giving the viewer a sense of a landscape which is impossible to grasp unless you're there. Love your vids.
Awesome adventure
that brought back some great memories, slept in the hut many times in my youth, thanks man
Loved the shots, loved the edit, loved the music- wonderful
Very entertaining Adventure. Travelling in speed. Nice view camping spot. Fantastic. Stay healthy
Nicely done! (both seeing and taking the opportunity as well as the video production)
Love the Giant Revolt!!
I grew up in egremont mate , I’ll be up visiting my dad soon . Pint ?
Recently found your channel and really enjoyed the video where you cycled home from China, quite inspiring actually! How are you getting on with that Robens bivi bag? Do you get much condensation in it?
Got up there one night after dark with my son only to find an old chap who'd clearly been there for days. It was freezing and we'd got wet legs fording the streams. He proceeded to stand in front of the fire we lit, which was a bit unfair but it was his axe that scared us. Not wanting to be murdered in our sleep we retreated in the dark and went home !! OK I exaggerated the axe bit but he made us feel quite uncomfortable. Pot luck with Bothys I guess.
0:12 Ahh demoulding some grout/mortar cubes? I am very familiar with that haha, what is your day job? I work in a forensic chemical/materials testing lab in Melbourne, Aus.
I’m currently working as a civil engineer in Cumbria
What's the Robens mountain bivvy like? Thinking of getting one
By the looks of it I left just before you arrived! What day was this?
This was Monday night just gone
@@Josh-Reid I must have missed you by a hour or so! It was a beautiful day for it. I’m lucky to have Warnscale on my doorstep. Keep up the great content and if you’re back in Buttermere, have a pint on me.
Got to love micro adventures. I've done a few here in Australia. Just strap some bags on a bike and go. What size is that rear bag and what brand? All best from Australia 👍
I’m currently using a 9l Arkel seatpacker
@@Josh-Reid thanks Josh. Yep I have same size and find it best as any larger is no good it swings to much. Thanks for reply mate.👍
Also it would be awesome to to see any more micro tours in future. All the best.
The Arkel bags have a rack system which prevents any swinging even with a bigger size. Always looks unpleasant with a swaying bag.
Hi Josh! What do you do for a living besides youtube?
I’m currently working as a civil engineer
Hey Josh, how can I contact you? In person..🚲
