Hi Adam, thanks for posting this vid, you’re right - there is very little content out there for this new Boss release so far, so glad to have come across your channel! I currently use a VoiceTone Correct, which has an instrument thru channel, so the pedal can discern the key, I’m no singer, so mostly use my pedal to just polish up my pitchy singing 😆. This pedal doesn’t seem to have the same instrument thru, so does pitch correct on VE 22 take you to the next nearest semitone? Also, looks like back / sides of pedal are plastic, is that the case, how rugged do you think it will be for regular stage use? Thanks!
The back is plastic....But it has a metal front plate. I have a few guitar pedals made this way and they hold up well. As for the auto tune, the "chromatic" setting will pull you to the nearest semitone.
Can you show the different harmony s as I have the boss ve- 2 and just use a 3rd for harmony and am buying this item but waiting on order Is it possible to use the arena effect and add harmony on 3rd if you find time to do this to demonstrate kind regards Gary Roberts UK Thanks again as there is no other videos showing more
@@garyroberts-spinoutuk4874 This one is a yes. I emarrased myself with this exact senario this morning. I though it would just be the volume of my voice which is pretty quite . Because I was wearing my studio headphones, I didn't realize my PA was on and I was belting out hyena noises and 7am. The signal will run to both your headphones and the PA at the same time. So if you are all hooked up, tune down/off your PA when using headphones.
No, there is no midi follower on this little guy. I use the Boss Ve 22 now and it does not have it either. Check out my other video for a review on that unit.
The loop function work by pressing both middle and right button at the same time. There is a time setting in the menu. The kicker is, I think you lose what you recorded if go to a different preset.

Thanks for that. I use a TC Helicon Voice Live 3. It reads your guitar chords. Can this unit read your guitar or keyboard chords?
