When my parents built their house my Dad did the same thing you did, bringing the workers food every so often. I appreciate that, and love seeing this process!

man my dad fires workers 😭 they dont deserve to be treated like crap by him but yet he doesnt care. he for some reason prefers cheap nobodies to do a piss poor job than a professional who asks for a proper payment...its sad honestly
The building arc of Acme Acres is going to be amazing to watch the story progress. Love how involved Toonz and Genay are with the construction phase, alot of people would have just left and let somebody send them updates. Can't wait to see the framing start going up.

Probably not as much as you'd think. As long as he stays out of their way and doesnt slow their roll, they probably dont give a damn. Unless they intended to cut corners, then they probably get pissed.

When we had major renovations done in my parents' house, the workers lived there so they opted to cook their meals. However, dad still put aside budget for the occasional lunch treats and every day snacks. NGL I mostly timed my visits for when the afternoon snacks would come in 🤣

after concrete work is done the rest should be easier. as everything falls into place and the fun part really begins. This is great to see how they do the foundation in hours. From laying to drying and doesn't crack that's amazing work.

Kudos to the contractors...place looks great...ps...OSHA requires that rebar poking out of the concrete for the grounding has a orange or green cap on it to prevent impalement...😉🤷
Also should have used a copper coated rod for the grounding rods, but I don't know what is code for where he lives!

Skreed board, just a 2x4 long enough to pull mud, power skreed the vibrating one side rests on the form skill on middle hover while pulling the tool camping mud in, rolling power skreed helps pull the mud back over a large distance as the gap is too large, you would need people in boots and a rake to pull mud in the middle boot holes need filled so it saves some steps.

Y Toonz looking like hitman/Boondock saint in the intro? I wear a hoody all year, but damn man aint it 2 hot 4 that? Do like that camo thin coat, that's something like I wear summer!
