As a civil engineer its neat to see someone filming part of my job stuff and people watching (I sample materials and do test on them to make sure for example the concrete was the proper mix to hold the weight it needs to )

I remember when I did a DEP course to become a Blue Printer. Someone who does the plans for a house/building and one of the first thing we got taught was the footers. I remember it like it was yesterday. It's so cool seeing it for your house Cartoonz and Genay. Can't wait for more of the update of the house.
Backstory, I'm a concrete truck driver, and the concrete legitimately does need to cure for at least a week before adding onto it to ensure strength. It can be poured earlier, but it does open the door for strength issues and cracking in the future.

Toonz looking a lot like Kratos in the thumbnail. It seems like such a small thing to see the footers getting poured but it's actually the base for everything else to build on.

I live in Louisiana, so we don’t often have basements during the building process because we flood so much, so seeing the process with a basement is so weird to me 😂

Toonz is always excited to see building stuff either in video games and in real life. He has a Structural engineering degree? He did mention in one of his videos.
They probably put cure and seal on it and they will put it on the rest of the concrete as well. Be sure that they water proof your basement walls a great product we use here in Arkansas is HLM 5000, it’s a great water proofing product

Does anybody know what the thing that Toonz and Genay mount their camera on where it keeps it steady but it slowly pans from side to side? Genay was using it, or at least it looked like she was, in her car at 15:40 and I've seen Toonz use it when he use to stream on caffeine, it's kinda mesmerizing.
