man that antique store really was HUGE, im not a collector myself but it was neat seeing so many cool things and there was even a few things i probably wouldve picked up myself
When in an antique store, I look for things that have 'secrets' - for example, I found a mini chest of drawers that had hidden compartments within its structure. That to me is GOLD!! And miniature things like little tea sets and stuff. Aahhhh that antique store is paradise!!
LOVED LOVED LOVED this video. I am responding from my husband's account because he called me in to watch this video. We are from Greensboro and did not know about Antique Marketplace. I used to frequently go to Red Collection near Battleground (across from Starbucks and Kickback Jacks) and wander around to relax or find the crazy items that were once loved. I used to love just finding furniture like lamps, chairs, cabinets or old items with character. My husband is like Cartoonz and is not as into the antiquing. Thanks for sharing and reminding me how much I love antiquing.
you could use the big flat stones to be a walkway around the house or for paths to a koi pond and what not. I have them as a path leading to my garden at my home and love them.
the outro is very nice 👍 i love watching this channel grow. so excited to see more from you both!! are we going to see a little birthday celebration for Luke ?
My grandparents has a vintage Coo-Coo clock that sings and displays Christmas bells at the top of every hour along with a massive grandfather clock. Those are always something I look at when I visit antique shops and I think about them.
I honestly gotta say you got me more interested in the antiqueing Genay, like it is fun to see those things around, also blue and white, China or known in Dutch as Delftsblauw is a typical Dutch work, which still is being done by hand today, by if i am correct a company from waaay back when it first started, of course modernized now.
That timelapse with your designer was really clean cut and cool it was awesome watchinf the clouds in the background move at super speed with you guys as time went on xD really helped give us an idea of just how long you guys were there
Loved the antiquing tag along! Also love the new outro, you should pull a zelda and have the chickens finally catch up to Toonz in the end and all you see is a dust cloud with "You Died" at the end. xD
The stones at 5:00 (the ones u asked about) we personally use them as a "pathway" u could say through our garden without risking to damage the roots of the flowers and bushes by properly laying a stone path and shifting the ground (ours are a lot smaller tough (around 30x30 cm))
I've always been jealous of the way American halloween items look. The older looking items have always fascinated me as they seem creepier than anything you can find nowadays.
I'll be 26 on January 5th, been watching you since the beginning brutha on your main channel. It's good seeing yall get a house and having a stable home and beautiful things. I'm happy for you and only wish the best for you man peace
I love antiques, so much history. They are all treasures for me. I collect antique perfume glass bottles, delftware, depression glass and holiday decor! I want to go explore that mall so bad 😍
I definitely loved the little antique trip because me and all of my friends love going inside them! Love getting lost in them. I saw the ninja turtle around 16:17 and I thought it was really cute!
14:36 that's the kind of stuff I look for, if it's in good enough condition I'll restore & use a lot of those old tools, especially the woodworking ones.
That place is so cool! I am an antique collector, I have a massive raggedy ann and andy collection, cookie jars, avon stuff. I love old wooden couches and furniture. I also collect old weir and creepy dolls/ marionettes
If u had asked me yesterday if i would watch a 20 minute video focused mostly on antiques id have said no. But here i am. Genay i hope you see this, your good at this. Never listen to any haters because the fact u managed to get me to watch something i generally cant stand is a testiment to your ability to entertain.
That store was amazing! I love looking through things like that and seeing the history. I'm not much of a collector but my favorite find was a complete vintage croquet set.
This video was so fun to watch! And I love antique shopping for the same reasons! You can see all the weird and crazy things people actually used in their homes, but you can also find really cool and practical things that deserve to be re-homed. It's pretty rare that I don't come away without at least something small each time I go. Now I think it's time for my own trip soon!
All that sun ruining your monitor tan Mr. Toonz. 🌞 Also as a modern wheelchair person, that wheelchair just made my soul hurt. Imagine how trapped you'd feel in that thing. I did like the lights they had in that once corner. Not to mention the books gave me serious Beauty and the Beast vibes
I collect Blue Willow so I completely understand the love of blue and white in the kitchen. I also love me an antique small oil lamp/lanterns. They are great statement pieces!
Loved seeing the antiques store! Also love Genay's voice lol She's got such a natural commentator / narrator voice and its nice to hear 😊 love you guys!
I legit cannot buy things for my house. Not from antique stores, home goods, hobby lobby, none of them. I wander around for an hour or more until I’m overwhelmed and then I leave empty handed. I don’t know how to do it!!
I enjoy seeing the old fire extinguisher in that store. Wish I could have bought that a try to restore it. I'd love to see more Antiques and could Start doing pickeling due to the fall season is almost apon us.
Bakeries, antique stores, bookstores. Places I can stay in for hours and not be bored. Theres just something about a cucuclock that i just love. Maybe its the novelty of it. I love those kinds that have like a scene play out instead of just a bird. Or a grandfather clock like in the movie "The Cat returns" its what made me want a grandfather clock one day lol
Antiquing *chef's kiss*, I am super jealous since all the antique shops in my local area are rather small, but I always find myself going back to each and every one, looking for furniture and bits and pieces for around the house. Loving the content, can't wait to see more
Growing up around them I love going to antique stores, my Memaw used to run a booth at a flea market when I was growing up and I used to polish the silver for her because silver is my favorite precious metal even over gold, anywho that is a huge antique store very cool
I love looking at little ornaments or tea cups in antique stores, especially since its Halloween I would love to have some sparkling little pumpkins just sitting around lol
Love the antiquing! My mom collects vintage Halloween stuff. That stuff can be crazy pricy! I love antiques. I don't collect much myself cuz I have no room but skeleton keys are my favorite.
Luke saying he's made of tissue paper & complaints had me dying.🤣🤣 I'm not big into antiquing, but you really can find some of the coolest things. I loved the globe, I can legit imagine it in your new home. It's such a neat piece. The blue & white dishes get me too.
That was my fist time really going through an antique store, so thanks for that. Really interesting to see all the unique and interesting pieces. I remember a lot of those old paper Halloween decorations when I was growing up. Definitely saw some items I wouldn’t mind having.
First an foremost, awesome trip Genay, love seeing some, as you said, awesome antiques. Also when Genay started explaining about the fire extinguisher, and out of the corner of my eye I see the butter churner and immediately thought..."Huh another thing cartoonz can have in his home for squirrel."...."you wanna make some butter squirrel?"
Crazy idea, the antique globe cool be cool for Luke to have in some part of the house as deco, and in it have some drink or if you guys don't drink like the tv remotes and or his controllers and stuff like that. Also as far as it goes to ideas for seeing stuff outside of house talk, I myself would love seeing some recipes from Genay, as holidays are getting closer and as well the decorations you guys will put up and so forth.
I collect a lot of antique tools and restore them. I love being able to bring the life back to them and look up the history. We have a lot displayed through our den and dining room. So you can get the best of both worlds buy finding antiques like furniture pieces and modernizing them with maybe some paint and updates handles.
I love that place! Theres just never enough time in a day for any antique store/mall. Cast iron items is what i collect (thanks to my dad) but i loved that globe you saw in there! It was beautiful 😍
Talking over the video from the antique store video was nice. I liked seeing the antiques and hearing your perspective on the crazy and the nostalgic things in there. Big fan of seeing whatever is going on for the new place. Do you plan on going to any nurseries to talk about the future orchard or is the plan to just start the orchard videos by showing you prepare the land? That would also lead to asking when the garden/orchard may get started. So excited for you two, you're living my best life lol.
Barter. Lots of antique places will barter, especially hole in the wall shops and even thrift stores. My husband and I found some great hand carved figures that needed restoring, and we were able to talk them down in price because they were so poorly preserved. Same with some metal figures; they usually just want stuff out to make room for incoming inventory.
Y'all should build a barn and put antiques in it.... Like a (coughs)..Anvil lol. Horseshoes black smith stuff, farming equipment.... An old schooled covered wagon lol 😂 and plus u could actually use it anyways
5:00 theyre stones to lay for outdoor pathways EDIT: i didnt realize i was into antique shops until watching this video!! 💯 some of the stuff in there reminds me of my grandmothers house when i was a kid and other really cool looking stuff too!! i loved the old style lamps 👌🏻👌🏻the all glass top and bottom ones (idk what their called 😬😶)
I loved this video and that antique store was AMAZING! Definitely have to go there sometime. Antiques are awesome and I love the history behind each piece. My favorite things to look for are definitely furniture items
I actually went to a place called antique alley near where I live this weekend. Found a first edition copy of Charles Lindbergh’s Spirit of St. Louis. Pretty awesome!

There's an awesome antique shop in Stoneville not far from y'alls land. You should check it out! Super cool guy, and he loves to show off his model T too!
my mom and sister both antique and i seen so much good stuff that they would of bought lol..blow molds and the christmas ornaments or any kind of holiday decor are the go to for their shopping lol
My grandmother and mother got me into antiquing, I used to hate as a kid. I always for the China/tea sets and really look for bone China. I enjoyed see the clocks. I have a grandfather and granddaughter clock that I found at a flea market. Definitely I find that if you sprinkle the antique in it looks really good in a house. Good look antiquing.
I'm always looking for carnival glass specifically the yellow/amber ones. But when I go into each store I just wander until something catches my attention. My grandparents took several of their old saws and had different pictures and scenes of their farm painted on them.
man that antique store really was HUGE, im not a collector myself but it was neat seeing so many cool things and there was even a few things i probably wouldve picked up myself
That's what she said
It’s like warehouse huge I would definitely get lost LOL

realistically toonz does not care and we found Mordor
5:02 “the entrance to Mordor”
the outro is very nice 👍 i love watching this channel grow. so excited to see more from you both!! are we going to see a little birthday celebration for Luke ?
Yes!
Hmm, I wonder kind of cake/dessert Luke enjoys

6:23 cartoonz out here had me laughing 😂💀
That hidden bar globe was my favorite. Not much of a collector, maybe if I was a lil/lot richer. Very chill video to watch.
The stones at 5:00 (the ones u asked about) we personally use them as a "pathway" u could say through our garden without risking to damage the roots of the flowers and bushes by properly laying a stone path and shifting the ground (ours are a lot smaller tough (around 30x30 cm))
I want to go to this store thanks for the tour Geney
That globe with the hidden bar was definitely the coolest thing there.
I am not much of a shopper but loved getting to know Genay so thanks
Those saws make great wall decoration. You can have them painted with beautiful scenery if you don't want them plain. We have several in our home.
I really really enjoyed this update! Antiques are so interesting & wild to me. It was great seeing all the cool stuff
I've always been jealous of the way American halloween items look. The older looking items have always fascinated me as they seem creepier than anything you can find nowadays.

Flagstones are typically used as kind of a walkway or setups for patio areas.
At 5:00 I *think* those are for pavers for a walkway. Those Tiffany or Tiffany-inspired lamps in the antique shop had me drooling. I love that style!
14:36 that's the kind of stuff I look for, if it's in good enough condition I'll restore & use a lot of those old tools, especially the woodworking ones.
That mirror/table at 8:16 center back wall looks awesome.
The slate can be used to make a pathway. My dad and I made a path from the house to the pool using the slate from our old pool table.
That circular light fixture at 13:09 was dope!
I really love the antique animal sculptures/statues, my grandmother has a ton of them and I love trying to go out and find them!
I swear, these videos are the only thing on TH-cam where I don't skip the intro :)
"Suggestive skeleton" was my favorite thing from the antique store.
That place is so cool! I am an antique collector, I have a massive raggedy ann and andy collection, cookie jars, avon stuff. I love old wooden couches and furniture. I also collect old weir and creepy dolls/ marionettes
I love raggedy ann :(
I'm *obsessed* with that black chandelier at 10:43 . So gorgeous! 😍
The globe/bar was awesome. My wife collects the uranium glass plates, cups, ect. They look really cool especially under a uv light!
If u had asked me yesterday if i would watch a 20 minute video focused mostly on antiques id have said no.

I like the antique store. I’m a big sucker for old signs (coke, Pepsi, ford, Chevy, etc.)
Actually loved this. The fire extinguisher, coocoo clocks and old holiday decorations are my favorite. Love the old Halloween ones

Thank you Mrs Toonz for taking us shopping, loved every minute of it
These videos are the best part of my Sundays now! I'm always looking forward to these videos!😀
Antiqueing reminds me of my grandmother who passed 8 years ago. So this hits close to home
Bakeries, antique stores, bookstores. Places I can stay in for hours and not be bored. Theres just something about a cucuclock that i just love. Maybe its the novelty of it. The Christmas album on the bottom you got, I grew up listening to that every Christmas. Yes I am that old. Love the videos keep up the good work.
the Mordor stones are Flag stones, you can make amazing Patios and walk ways with them, but they can be a bit troublesome to get even levels with
That store was huge! And that globe is a dream
The large stones, we use as walking paths stones in the back yard along the mulch.
Love the antiquing! My mom collects vintage Halloween stuff. That stuff can be crazy pricy! I love antiques. I don't collect much myself cuz I have no room but skeleton keys are my favorite.
I've never paid attention to antiques before but that silver TMNT got my attention immediately 😱😂✨️
Luke saying he's made of tissue paper & complaints had me dying.🤣🤣 I'm not big into antiquing, but you really can find some of the coolest things. I loved the globe, I can legit imagine it in your new home. It's such a neat piece. The blue & white dishes get me too.

Don't underestimate the little road side show either. Some real gems in there.

You could make a shelf with the rocks you wanted make something out of like a place to put your games or books
