This is a great little kit. I've been using mine pretty regularly in the last 6 months, and it hasn't failed me yet. Plus, for the cost, you can't beat it.

Thank you for commenting and watching my video ! I really appreciate it!! Yes some work friends and I do two canoe trips each year. One in early spring and the other late fall when the water is high. Anyway I always bring my Stanley adventure cook set with me. You can check out the video that I did on it if you would like. It’s the one with 14 thousand views. I think that you may like it. That and the fry pan are all I bring on my trips. They have served me well. Thanks again. Take care and stay safe. PA

$25 for that set isn't bad! The pot alone is worth that, not to mention the extras. I can see a couple drill hole modifications to use my fish mouth spreader to hang over a tripod. ( I never like using the the little lid handles, been burned too many times, lol!) Also very interested to see the seasoning video. Good stuff brother, thanks for sharing!

Good day PA! I'm still using an old 1960's vintage Canadian Army Mess Kit, I guess it's time I looked into upgrading to something a little more modern and a lot less aluminum. haha, Mike.

Good info! I'm really interested on how you season your Stanley camping cookware. You mention it but I can't find a video on it. I think if you did one it would do well. Nobody else has done one or even thought of one.

Thanks for watching my video and commenting! If you watch my channel I do have a video on how I season my Stanley pot. They actually don’t have to be sharpened if you use oil or butter. Do you have any Stanley cook set? PA

    • @emerycreek8016

@@pareloader5989 Awesome, I'll have to watch that. I have one of the 2 cup sets which I've used to boil water for coffee or dehydrated meals on hunting trips. Also for heating MRE pouches. I've always liked it a lot. So I got a cook and store 2 bowl set thinking I could do some actual cooking, especially on a camping or picnic type trip where you have lots of free time. I was worried about sticking food so seasoning caught my attention. But I was also wishing I had something in size between those two sets and this cook set for 2 looks like it does just that. Thanks for the great review!

P.S, actually I don't have a cook and store kit. I have a stanley 2 bowl kit with lids and a 50 oz. pot. Not sure what it's called, maybe a prep and cook kit. But I'd like a 32 oz pot to fit between the two I have,

This is a cool video. But! I have never melted one of those tabs off of a pot. I don’t know of anyone that has melted that tab. I think everyone just thinks that it is going to melt. And so everyone just assumes that it’s going to melt. Maybe someone should do a video to see if they can get one to melt. Lol

I got this kit when I first came out for 15 bucks. I really wanted to like it but those sporks are useless and the ridge on the lid isn’t deep enough making the lid easy to slide off. Nobody mentions that. This kit could’ve been a home run instead it’s like a double.

Thank you for watching my video and commenting! Really appreciate it! Yeah I agree with you 100%. Those small changes could have made that cook set great. I still like some of there other cook sets though. I did a bunch of videos on some of there other kits. Check them out if you want. I really like the Stanley adventure cook set and the cook and store set that they discontinued. Not sure why they stopped making it. It is a great kit. I use it for making bannock bread. Works really well. Thanks again for the support! PA

@@muratgurner4355 hello! Well I own a lot of the Stanley cook sets. Each one serves it’s own purpose. If you are hiking or camping solo, then you might want the Stanley adventure cook set. Or a two person cook set. I also own the base camp cook set which is quiet a big set. More geared for car or R2 camping.
