always feel like the staff are never allowed to be negative in anyway towards the company, like come on, that driver was doing 16 hour shifts, he has the right to be pissed at someone calling him lazy
Not sure why Ronnie's boss was so insistent that he "liked" the customers. I learned way back when I was a station jockey (pumped gas at a full service station) that "John Q. Customer is an asshole." No, not all but it helped me survive the rest of my working career with that philosophy. "Bosses" and customers came and went, as I knew they would, but I just kept plugging along.😁
The wigs they use to "disguise" the bosses are ridiculously bad. I don't believe for a minute they are meant to be serious. They should be the Joke of this show if they aren't already.
Undercover Boss is the biggest crock on shit. You’re telling me that these Big company CEO’s just “happen” to ALWAYS ‘randomly’ find the people with the biggest sob stories to pair the bosses with. Never mind the fact that the cameras always in their face. Instead of randomly watching all the employees like an actual documentary would (since that’s the cover story they give out) 🙄
Im ngl as someone whos young and worked a handful of jobs ive met people with “sob stories” who overcame or are working the job to help overcome them. Ive met former heroin addicts who were 6 years sober, ive met single moms who dealt with a abuse, ive met dudes who fled a life of gang violence and who have spent the first half of their life in jail and the hospital for being shot over 5 separate occasions, ive met an elderly man who took a risk to move to pa and he lost everything taking that risk but he did it to please his wife and because of that he had to start working at a restaurant despite being a successful truck driver in ny, ive met so many different people, cultures, and stories. So the stories are acc not so unrealistic
@@jerrivera4038 you’re clearly not getting the point. I’ve worked with plenty of those kinds of people too. Undercover boss is set up in a way that the entire thing is supposed to seem “random”. It’s not. Everyone knows that they are coming to film some kind of “documentary” there so Thor episodes when they act shocked to see cameras is bull. And the fact that EVERY single episode they ‘ just happen’ to find an employee with a tear jerker sob story and somehow that person always turns out to be the best worker too is beyond unrealistic.
This has got to be fake , i mean surely these people realize that they are being filmed by a man with a whacking big camera . That would start the alarm bells ringing .
You know how this is fake; in 30+ years of professional work life No One has ever come up and just started having a real conversation. Any time I have ever started bring up my personal life like my friend committing suicide, my dad have 4 heart attacks or the numerous other instances of loosing someone close to me now one has ever just sat and let me express, vent or other wise share.
Aw I'm sorry dude. Some people don't know how to handle conversations are that heavy. In almost every job I've had I've ended up learning a lot about my coworkers and building good bonds with them. I hope you have other good people in your life you can talk to if your coworkers aren't down to chat
People who feel that way about customers should never hold a service job. For their own best interests. He was miserable, very obviously. So she did the guy a favor.
they don't want employees anymore they want slaves that obey . But sooner or later they gonna replaced by AI anyway so they can programm it to function as they like .
You’re a customer too whenever you enter other people’s establishments you know that right? Just because you work minimum wage doesn’t put you above other people, we are all humans serving a purpose in society. You probably stress out alot and deal with depression judging by your attitude, seek help my brother.
"John is a former FBI agent with extensive skills to go undercover"
John: *wears a shitty 70's wig from Party City*
hahaha ikr
John: brings a cameraman with (probably) huge camera :D
Honestly though, I feel like the ridiculousness of his appearance would fit him right into the smaller hardware stores in my area. 😂

I don’t understand. I LOVE helping customers! Makes my day more interesting and go faster.

Nothing says "undercover" better than a camera crew following you around.
yes this show is a complete joke.
They come up with some other realiity show storyline.
Everyone wants to be on TV, nobody asks any questions. LOL

John looks like Bashar al Assad
U can hate customers no reason to be fired for it. Who doesn’t hate them.
