It wouldn't be weird for Kratos to have a few kids he didn't know about. It'd be cooler if this was a sequel to the last one set a few years later after he found one such kid, instead of just a reboot. The description of "stunning retelling of the classic series" seems to deny that though, sadly.

@@LusciousTwinkle Lol at 3:45 watch behind the pillar. You'll see the Elf float to the right of the screen right before the edge of the stone slab covers the rest of it. At 3:44, when he is looking up at the runes on the bridge you still see the outline of the elf right next to the tree.
This is not the God of War like a good old slasher, I think this today all the games out of the same type, just different characters and story. And it is bad..

For those asking "where are the Blades of Athena/Sparta?", remember he lost/discarded all his weapons during his final battle with Zeus. While I'm certainly going to miss them (assuming that they won't be in this game), I'm looking forward to seeing the new weapons Kratos gets. Assuming that the axe will be more of a power weapon, I wonder if he'll have a more light, quicker weapon to use....then again the gameplay mechanics may be totally and completely different altogether now.
The giant mention Valhalla, part of nordic mythology, so this game won't be about kratos and Greek mythology. The character design looks like kratos but isn't him. The game will be in a different world and a different story
you probably already know by now but just in case you dont... its still the same kratos so spartan rage makes sense. he'll probably unlock norse themed abilities later on, spartan rage will be something kratos already knows because of the originals.
