    Sharing of the teacher's own personal experience in the context of the Dharma subject was so powerful. I recognize my own habit tendency to blame others but mostly myself and also to rationalize. 🙏💗

    Excellent. Dharma really helpful. Totally agree the need to excavate the clutter and cultivate the mindset of no interpretations.

    Great talk. I think I'm a Pleaser and Rationalizer, a very bad combination if you're affectionate to the wrong people. Thankfully no one took advantage of me but I used to put in much more effort and energy into my relationships than did the recipients. Any time I noted this one-sidedness, I convinced myself that there was a good reason for it (the other person is too busy, forgot, meant well, etc.) Ultimately I convinced myself that my hurt feelings didn't matter.
    I still give people the benefit of the doubt but I am much more aware of when I do something for someone's own sake versus desiring attention/affection for it.
