RC Star 45 Sail Sheeting System

This is my approach to controlling the sails of an RC Star 45 sailboat. It is a continuous loop system with half of it above the deck for easy access. The sail sheets will be attached to the spring and go forward to a bow turning block. From the block, the sheets will go through some fixed eyelets on the deck and then onto the sail booms.

It’s a 3.5 turn HiTech brand winch. I use a programmable radio to control how far the spring travels on the deck, and ultimately the boom angles.

Does the winch have stops when it reaches the endpoints? Or perhaps x number of drum rotations?
