- Time for another Koto pattern custom!
A fun little weekend project that turned out pretty fancy, still need to get a better camera for the spray booth shots I think!
Up next will be a brief covering of my first HMM Custom Panzer.

First off, that paintwork is spectacular! Second, nothing gets me more hyped than seeing the Blade Liger first appear in Chaotic Century. Even that little clip at the start had me smiling like a little kid 😂
Hey thanks dude!
I know right? Hits a special nostalgic spot everytime 😁
It's so cool!
The reflection of the polarized paint gives it a very nice atmosphere.
Simple beauty works well with the blade liger 8)
The shift is so amazing!
Wow! Love the color! 10/10💯👌👌
Wow! You made that panel lining look so easy to do! I need an airbrush so badly now
Have you tried out the citadel 'shade' paints before? They're basically a cheat to easy lining :D As for airbrushing, I'd recommend getting use to adjusting the airbrush when you get it, you can do this by using clean water on say cardboard or paper to test the flow etc, just draw shapes and things 8)
You NAILED this! well done mate
Hey thanks a tonne man, I'm really happy you like it! 8)
Very nice! The shift really takes it to the next level.
Absolutely mate, I'm still blown away how much your paints bring out on a model!
🤩😃 makes me love ❤️my favorite zoid even more Awesome 👍😎 Job dude
I'm glad I did it justice for you mate 8) thanks!
awesome, what a dazzling badass it is
Nice job
Thank you mate!
Gorgeous mate! Where do you grab your older kits in Australia? I'm really struggling!
Cheers mate! The go to shops for me are 105th armory, frontline hobbies, hobbyco and Sugo Toys. If they aren't available there, keep an eye on Amazon Aus, you can pick up some great deals as they come available (usually shipped from Japan).
Looks spectacular bud, quick question on the sms paints, do you use a top coat/varnish to protect once sprayed on? No paint smudging or risk of damage when assembling the kit? Thanks.
Cheers mate! The SMS paints are generally lacquer in nature and depending on what variant you're using don't require a topcoat and may be affected by adding one. As for smudging, I've not had any issues like this at all and as you may have seen, I've done a fair few with the SMS paints :P when it comes to damage, it can occur and it's something to be aware of while assembling, but generally like most paints over the top they can suffer scratches and the like if the area painted is high traffic for movement, but basically you can comfortably paint a zoid in sections or individual pieces with SMS and assemble it after fairly stress free. Just ensure you don't cake the paint on too much in places where connection occurs, like the pegs.
Oh! Also don't be shy for reaching out to Scott, the owner of SMS, he's very friendly and open to helping with his range 8)
new to channel u have a set up guild for your painting booth
I don't currently but I can make something a little quick if you'd like mate!
