Funny that you should mention that, its not just a shield unit. It is also a piercing drill and cutting pincers and duel laser cannons! A version of the CAS in the zoids legacy game has exactly what your looking for however it was a fury with a gigantic laser cannon on its back, I think it was called the shatter or shard version.

One thing I never liked about the design is that it's gorgeous. Yet I think a giant cannon would work better than a twin shield generator.
Now that's an idea I can get behind, twin laser Vulcans from the shadow fox perhaps 😍
