I'd like to better understand what the Start and Run mean on the fan motor and compressor. Besides going to school for this, I was wondering if you have a source or a video that talks more about the start and run windings do. I think I heard you say it's to do with like another sine wave at 120vac. Could you please help? Also what's the title of that big book with the pictures in it? thanks, great video. I'd like to learn more.

The start capacitor gives the motor (the start winding) the push needed to get it running. And the run capacitor keeps the run winding running
