hi guys enjoyed the show got my lm drum and wave from Andertons Monday im going to have a good play this weekend also got the eurorack pro rx1602 from your last show so lots to play with many thanks lads
Synth Renegade and certified Behringer Bro here...Sweetwater won't ship my bLinn Drum pre-order untill June. I'm ~#400 on the pre order list. Glad you two distinguished blokes got yours!
Nice video, guys! Mine will arrived in may! I watched so many vids since ordered it. I watched maybe 6 times the official tutorial you mentioned that when it arrived, I will know how to operate it! 😎
The upcoming BMX - seems a curious product to follow up this with- because you could load the samples into the LM drum. And since the key pad clusters seem similar (but moved around) I would guess the internal main boards of the two units are going to be the same and all you will have to chose is orange or blue line skin preference.
kool vid , just got the lm drum , imported some samples and within minutes was getting this. had no plan to make it . i was just messing with tempo and liked it so quickly made it a vid. i will be making many more videos with it . have a look. thanks
I got the RD-8 a bit after it arrived here in the US, only because the RD-6 hadn't arrived yet. Now I am glad I did, cuz I was working full time and had plenty of cash. The LM-Drum looks nice, sounds tasty, and is priced here what the RD-8 originally was, at $399, but I don't have the funds for that. Enjoy your treasures, gents, and as always, THANKS!!!
Thanks both, definitely on my shopping list. One question is there a limit on sample lengths? E.g. if I wanted to have a 4 or 5 second spoken word sample (think Patrick Allen on Two Tribes) would that work and could I trigger them from a separate Midi device?
Mine arrived yesterday. It looks to have great potential. I'm disappointed that Behringer stuck with the Linn Drum's original pads layout as pretty much every drum machine since then has located the bass/kick drum pads to the left of the snare, but this one does it the other way round. That makes it quite difficult to do 'finger drumming', although perhaps other people's experience will be different.
I Could Do With This For The Extra 80's Drum Patterns. I Have Been Using The Drum Patterns That Are Built into The Roland D-10 SYNTHESIZER Which Has Helped Me To Create My Own Songs For My Own Album. 🕺
In his online letter, Roger Linn mistakenly wrote that Behringer left in his limitation of not being able to tune everything, which he must have missed.
I wish someone would do a decent demo with self sampled sounds. Actually i hate those digital Linn sounds, thats why i initially did not order one, but i always (since i had a 808 in the 1990s) wanted a sample drum machine like that.
I understand that Behringer wanted to copy the original, but quite honestly having half of it being volume/pan sliders is a massive waste of space as drum loudness/panning is something you seldom change once you set it all up.
It has a similar layout and uses the same samples but the operating system is different from the Linn Drum's. It's also poorly explained in the manual.
Got my LM Drum Saturday, 18th Jan. l think it's amazing. My Behringer Wave arrived at the same time, they compliment each other well.

Would love to hear you guys plug a mic into it and sample some sounds into and through that glorious chip :)))
Great video lads, mine arrived Monday and has surpassed my expectations. Wonderful bit of kit.
Ay it’s you guys!!! Used to watch this channel but forgot to subscribe 😊😊

The first track sounds like You Spin Me Round by Dead Or Alive, not sure about the second.

BY THE WAY.... I think it's good to visit Roger's website and read Roger's thoughts on the Behringer "LmDrum".
Tried to hear behringer Lm on the video, but there are only dudes chatting..
@@Drumsdude123 there is also our videos with all the drum samples and all the factory patterns plus we will be doing more videos on the lm drum
I didn't get mine yet, but when I do, I'll probably open the box and look at it.
we have all had the clap hahahahah
Classic ❤
i just cant get enough i just cant get enough
great video, as usual.
1st tune :
I think we’re alone now
2nd tune:
Walk this way !!
The 1st one was 'You Spin Me Round' by Dead Or Alive
@ yeh I spotted the text after I’d put this
Fallin..in love..❤❤❤❤

Uli!!! That was your biggest inst you 've made since of the 80 th of the combinator...❤❤❤❤
Got mine 2 days ago chaps 😎
in the US, we may not get ours until June????? Whats up with that??????
4 Months in Germany also if you did not order with the first wave.

Don't forget there is a Tears For Fears soundbank in the LM Drum. Behringer bought the Linn Drum and custom Eproms at an auction
Got mine on order.😁
First one is You spin me round & second is Radio Gaga
At least that’s what the presets call them
Spin me & Gaga 😂
Great..waitin for delevery❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Could you make a Korg MiniPops 7 set mapped out, with its Jarre drums and percussions ? :-)
@@Aetila will give it a go
Thanks!
I really want this
Can you make pitched melodies on it?

See what we can do

Better than the rytm or the tempest?
What’s the longest sample time (per pad)?
does it have 24, 48 ppqn and up?
@@djkaydeemix we think it does
“Bangers and Chumley” - Channel name.
“Take the fear …” - Series/Show name.
👍🏼
Apparently Behringer sent Roger Linn a LmDrum to try out and he couldn't work out how to use it - the machine he designed!! So maybe not a clone?
It has a similar layout and uses the same samples but the operating system is different from the Linn Drum's. It's also poorly explained in the manual.
Who is Roger Linn? I thought his name was Roger Lm.
The third one was FreeBird !!
1st You spin me right round
The Problem with the lmDrum is
The Digitakt exists!
It doesn’t hold a candle to the Analog Rythm. There’s no competition, not even close
So you don’t care Behringer screwed Roger over?
Not at all.
First one is You spin me round & second is Radio Gaga
At least that’s what the presets call them
Spin me & Gaga 😂
@@AlbertMonkey correct well done
