Big up to Andertons here too. Service I’ve had is great, especially the one time I had a faulty synth. One phone call, and the old one was collected and new one supplied within a few days. Then masking up their delivery box, when my Mrs bought me a Solina as a surprise anniversary gift. I bought the Spring Reverberator earlier in the year, I would absolutely love a desktop classic dub delay to sit next to it.

That book you brought up at the end wasn't aimed at me at all lol. I say Black Friday has been projected very badly, yes most blue-collar workers get paid that Friday however 98% of that paycheck goes to landlords, so we have been posting our other used crap online that can't sell because everyone knows if they buy it they won't have money for Black Friday, you see how this doesn't work.

I'm a guitarist first but honestly that klon clone just makes me yawn. The tonebender was a nice idea though. Also, way too many Behringer bargains at the moment. 150 for a Mark one MS-1 at Andertons. A keyboard monosynth with sequencer and keytar attachment. Come on!

I bought one in 1988 for over £1200 and still have it. It's never been played outside my house so is in great condition. I bought extra memory cards to save presets too. The floppy disk worked well, to save songs and presets, but it was just soooooo slow😴💤💤💤

Hi guys, I wish I knew more about them too. Yours is one of the only references I can find. They don’t seem to have a serial number anywhere. I contacted RK and they told me mine was a 92 model so perhaps that’s the only year of issue. Have you managed to find out anything that you can share? Cheers!

I recently got a QY70 shipped from Japan via eBay, and these things are real gems. Sound banks are absolutely smashing and better than what you find in a DAW, no joke. Also, if you have the little QY utility to download/upload midi files with a PC, you can do some pretty magic things. I uploaded a midi file i got off the internet (16 track Roxy Music song) and it played the whole thing absolutely perfectly. I will say the drums sounds are the absolute best. MUCH better than on my DAW. And wait you get some effects like Reverb, Chorus, you can edit the patches, LFO's, envelopes, the possibilities are absolutely endless.

Lots of good tuner apps you can install on your phone if you are in a bind and need one quick. I paid full whack for a UB-XA on preorder when they were released. Still more than happy, even at full price it is still an absolute bargain, it blows my mind they are selling them for even less than that so soon. I'd love to know what they discuss at their corporate meetings to arrive at these decisions.

I don't hook mine up to anything like an amp or speakers. but it seems if you are only using the built in speakers you cannot get some of the sounds. Iwas hoping to be able to use the piano or organ sound but cannot get any sounds from it when I select those. any ideas?

Some great bargains, deepmind temptation. And maybe a drum machine. Always use a tuner in Ableton to tune my semi modular synths.
