Catch and EAT! Fresh Sushi In the Marsh

  • Tried something different and ate some bluefish in the marsh. Since then I havent gotten sick so I think its safe to say Im in the clear.. The fishing this day was pretty slow.. couple small bass, fluke and one lone bluefish who wasn't so lucky. I highly recommend you try eating some fish raw this season, just check online and make sure youre not eating something unsafe. My gopro experienced some corruption this day and I lost some clips.. including my initial reaction to the first bite of this sashimi, overall it was very good, and at no time was there any gross tastes/smells from the bluefish.. basically the equivalent of eating a gourmet pizza.

Same! I prefer to eat bluefish raw rather than cooked anyway. But you do have to be aware of the parasites. Don’t wanna be poopin out any worms

Hey Sea-Money: Great Video. I love Blues raw and cooked. Sometime you gotta try some Smashed ginger (paste) and green wasabi sauce with the Soy sauce. Just mix the 3 together a little ( not to mush wasabi at first, ) and put on the Sushi, Sashmi, raw fish. Its great stuff. I never had sushi until some Japanesse American Friends at work introduced me to it. Love it ever since. Fresh Mackerel is really awesome raw too !! your right the oily fishes are best for sushi. Great Channel man. Fun and informational. I'm just a beginner fisherman but I have learned some tips that I am trying to apply. Great videos from the Florida Trip. My old Mom was laughing good when the Aligators and Snakes chased you ! Keep Postin.

As a born and raised Rhode Islander I’ve caught too many blue fish and it’s one of my favorites! Getting those filets nice and clean of the blood strip is crucial BUT when in doubt, throw some tomato in while they cook! The acidity will knock down that gamy taste like you wouldn’t believe

Some of the best Sashimi that I've ever had as up here in the Boston area try doing it with striped bass it's extremely good does not smell or taste fishy at all. It actually has the texture of a boneless chicken breast it's very tasty especially sliced very thin. And also I wanted to comment on you said you wish you had a fork Sashimi is to be eating with chopsticks. Look forward to more fishing videos bro cuz you're fishing with exactly what I fish for whether it's blue fish and stripers or what have you look forward to more videos Happy fishing.
