I think you missed an important piece that many reviewers overlook about the R6. I'm an R5 shooter who love his camera. When I tried an R6 for the first time, only one thing stood out to me. No, I'm not talking about the extra 25 megapixels or 8k. No, I'm not talking about the 4k/120 or top LCD screen. The one thing that stood out for me was, the sensor readout. You might think that is odd, but I shoot my R5 in nearly 100% electronic shutter. And it hasn't been an issue for nearly anything. Additionally, being a wildlife guy, there are substantial benefits to silent shooting. With the R6, I had the be very cognizant of what I was shooting opposed not having to worry about rolling shutter on my R5. Where the R5 has one of the fastest readouts, only beat by the A9's and now A1, the R6 actually has one of the slowest readouts. But that said, I bet the next iteration will improve that.

The LCD screen is great for landscape when you have to get down low to focus on your subject.

I think you’re being just a smidgin picky about the screen. I find the flip out screen really useful and I’m not a vlogger and yes it works fine with an L bracket as you don’t need the screen to go completely out before twisting it around.
I’m used to the on/button being where it is and it’s not a problem but can see from a Nikon user it would be.

This is easily one of the best reviews of the Canon R6 I’ve seen 👍 (I’ve pretty much decided to buy one)
As a spectacle wearer I assume eye relief/diopter adjustment will be ok?

Nice cursory review but Northrup has already been there. Would have liked more detailed discussion of cases and methods decided on in AF rather than bromides.

Hi Nasim, I am long time admirer of photography life contents. It's a treasure house of all photography related techniques, artistic skills and gear reviews. Very happy to see this objective review of R6 in comparison to other competitive mirrorless systems. Looking forward for the lens reviews of the RF system as you had done already with the Z system. Good luck and good health.

Nice review. I just got my R6 and am still trying to transition to RF. I have RF 35, 50 and 85 primes, non L series. What do you think about the new RF 100-500? Have you had a chance to play with it yet?

R6 is yet overpriced. Canon R is a balanced choice to my opinion. Or get the top r5 with no compromises.

I don't agree you have the same sensor as the flagship 1Dx Mk3 with better focusing and image stabilisation. It's a cheap 1Dx in my eyes and I've used both systems, people really moan about it being only 20MP and see that as requiring a lower price, but it is a top sensor not a cheap sensor as nearly all top Nikon and Canon top range sports cameras use sensors traditionally at around this or less for the benefit of low light focusing and shooting. I also have the R and used to use the 1Dx range, this is better than any Canon camera for the price. The R5 is good but so dear and then you have to purchase expensive cards, SD are a great cheap option still and they do the job, for Pro's you have 2 card slots compared to the EOS R, that's a much needed security for weddings and the like.

I feel the R6 has just the right balance of specification, although the price is a little high at the moment.
20 MP is plenty unless cropping heavily or making massive prints,45 is overkill for most people in my humble opinion and has more disadvantages.
