Why are people in power unable to decide what is good for democracy.
Every step and process should be doubted in a strong democracy.
We have the time and manpower for physical counting of VVPAT slips.
But there is no will by keepers of democracy.

Counting 100% vvpat is waste of resources cuz eci already counts enough to verify whether evm votes are reliable or not(more than amount recommended by iit experts). Opposition parties have the opportunity to check evms before they are sent to polling stations.
Let's be real, all of this opposition parties running away from truth that people rejected them again and again
Who will pay for the manpower, the tax payers. If BJP wins after full verification, then opposition asks for manual ballot papers and after that demands that they be elected anonymously as they do not have confidence in the voters.

It is not possible to prove the manipulation in 3 hours, as demanded by EC. Also, all EVMs may not be manipulated ones. Counting all VVPATs is one step forward towards enhancing the confidence. Pre-programming of EVMs selectively is a possibility, which cannot be detected through limited testing span over a few hours.

People of India are disapoointed that SC did not pay attention to the taxpayors plea of banning EVM this time. Even if only few people feel that EVMs could be manipulated, there was no harm in bringing the paper ballot back. Many advanced countries do that. Then there is an argument that the volume is big in India but then manpower is also big. So, why not?
The most imp thing is to enable a free and fair elections and they failed.
First of all, they were reluctant to hear the case which is one of the most imp case. Then they did not agree for 100 % counting of VVPAT.
This judgement will be remembered for a long time as only they had the power to change but didnt.

When the ballot voting systems, the Voter get the paper from the poling booth officials and affix the vote and fold it and then put it inside the box. So much of time was taken earlier.

If any candidate wants more than 10 percent vvpat to be counted has to pay 1 crore and get it done. If there is any discrepancy then return the 1 crore and void the election or declare that candidate as winner if the margin of discrepancy is more than 1 percent.
