What i do with beef ribs is i flip them to the back side so the white side is facing up and i take a knife and put it inbetween the bone and the white membrane and ill cut it off to start then in just tear the rest off, it makes it way easier to clean the bone and get all the meat

Love the vids! Ive seen lots of other craw boils on the TH-cams and they all purged them a ton more. The water was running clear from them before they started to boil.

Get a fire going, use hickory or other BBQ wood like oak(popular in east TX). Make it a small clean burning fire with barely visible smoke and then smell that smoke. It will actually smell sweet and that is what flavor will go on your meat. Then toss on your wet wood, billowing white smoke that smells bitter... and your food will end up tasting that way too! Take some plywood and 2x4s build your perimeter with the boards around the plywood then cut two 🕳 holes on each side of the ply wood build a perimeter around the holes it’s easy to do square holes then set it on two round garbage cans! that’s what we have and do but that table works too lol ! #eatgood

We do it a little different but you did ok we just cook them in bigger quantity and we put all the vegetables in before the crawfish let them cook take them out and put crawfish,lemon,and onion at the same time we leave them in for 6 minutes and when we put them in the ice chest we put a little seasoning on them then

When you dump those Crawfish in the Cooler. Smother them with Parkey squeezable butter, then sprinkle some more seasoning on em. Nothing like butter soaked Crawdads

I’m a new sub from El Paso Tx and lil tip here I usually soak my wood chips in water for a few hours it makes it last longer and produces more heat and smoke
When we do a crawfish boil, we roll towels up to line the table up under the plastic so nothing falls off. A whole lot easier! Great video man! @mulletman
The only thing i saw that i didint like was not washing the potatoes before putting them in and its ssmall anyways but just feels like a step that was left out

With crawfish u can also give them cornmeal and let them sit in a pool for 2 or 3 days and it cleans them real good
FYI The Potatoes are in a boil bag. You don’t have to remove them. Put the whole bag into the boil.

Mike take you some 1”x2” wood strips and screw them down around the top of your table to make a Boarder for a craw fish table.
