Great Video my friend. Send some subscribers over to watch some Texas fishing! Help me to reach that 3K mark! Looking forward to getting down there and fishing the home water with ya and having a crawfish boil. Will be a good time bro!
Thanks Chris! Y’all please go check out my buddies channel and subscribe. Let’s help him get over the 3k Mark. He has served and fought for this great country. That’s the least we can do for him.
Just found your channel. New subscriber. I am born and raised in Jennings but lived most of my adult life elsewhere. Watching your videos bring back all the good memories from being Cajun. You're doing a great job on the videos, and I look forward to watching more.
Your videos make my mouth water and I am envious of your love of the outdoors. I am retired and hope to do more fishing, crabbing and enjoy life as you do daily. God bless ya and your family.
ken,As usual you deliver the best videos. Ther ain't nothing you guys cook that wouldn't win a Gold medal in my book. Glad to see you back. All TheBest to you and family
......You have one of the very top favorite channels !!...Those oysters on the shell and the bugs you cook look outstanding. ATB from frozen central Texas...
Kendall. Just catching this episode but wanted to say another great job. Those charbroiled oyster recipes look award winning. Next time you do some raw and make cocktail try putting a couple splashes of olive oil and a squeeze of lemon with those exact same ingredients. We have been eating oysters at Felix oyster house in the FQ for years and one of their shuckers turned us on to the olive oil trick. Can't explain why but it elevates that cocktail to another level. I use the same recipe for my boiled shrimp
AWWWW BRUH! Imma have to quit watching your channel when im hungry! Makin my mouth water! I gotta tell ya too, everybody in LA always arguing about weather the crab boil goes on the inside or outside of the crawfish. Im with you on this one! I like it on the inside AND out!
Hey Ken, just subscribed to your channel. Absolutely awesome. Gotta say: Brian and your family are spoiled by your cooking. Wish I was there. Keep up the good work. God bless.
Hell yeah brother! I’ve always bbq on low till they open then sauté n butter garlic hot sauce etc! Been years since the Seattle days I loved watching you brought back many bbq party memories!! Thx you
Interesting episodes of yours. I speculate that you also use crawfish for gumbo dishes and catch cat fish for blackened fish fried dishes - two of my favourites when vacationing in New Orleans in 1986.
I just found your channel it's like hitting the lottery for this country boy I absolutely love it I'm from ohio so a little different but I fish, hunt, forage and grow most of me and my family's food love the self sufficiency and the pride it gives me we need more people like us in this world god bless and keep these videos coming
As a native of south La and being somewhat of a world traveler...there is no place like it. Spring and Fall are surely the best times of the year. March to May...October though December
You guy's are sure living the good life, those oysters looks so delicious gonna have to try them including the crawfish boil, thanks for sharing your recipes with us,a big howdy from South Texas 👋🤠
New to your channel. I have thoroughly enjoyed all that I have seen. Thanks for making these videos! Wish we had "smellavision" when you cook these great foods.!
Have Mercy 🤤🤤My mouth was watering the whole video lol My goodness i can’t wait to do another Crawfish Boil👊🏻❤️ loved the video!! I have to try oysters with those recipes without a doubt 👍👍
Well that sure looks good and I love the way u did the oysters and I love them. Like the way boil the crawfish 🦞 and the lemons was a new one for me and I am going to try that next time I boil. Again great video buddy.👍👍👍
Thank you sir for another great video! I am starving now! Don't much care for the raw oysters, but I do like the Rockefeller. All the crawfish shacks had to shut down because of this crazy winter storm. There is only one of them that I know of that dust's the crawfish with seasoning like you do after it is cooked, but you have to ask them to do it. In my opinion, that is the best way to do it. Keep up the good work, and as always, Greetings from God's Country, Arkansas.
That looks amazing. I love fresh oysters!! Never been to a crawfish boil yet. That is on the list for sure if I ever get back to Louisiana on vacation. Take care my friend!! Awesome video!!
Man we are sitting under snow and ice...froze in ,can't get out . Those oysters on the grill are one of my all time favorites!!! Was thinking of you last week when I was whopping up o. The whitebass on the Sabine river. Keep up the good work brother..you made me hungry once again!!@
@@kfred thanks for taking the time to make videos and share with us. I plan on doing some fishing this summer over your way. May have to hook up and go fishing with us. Stay safe and God bless.
The special shucking clove is essential for shucking. If none, do the shucking at the nearest ER. Man, that food looks (and smells) good! I'll take all the oysters you have left over...? You boys are having too much fun.
I absolutly love raw oysters! You guys are the very best! I agree with others, you should publish a Cajun Cookbook. Love you guys. Take care and God bless. Raw? Hey let's cook dem some. Great ideas. You are dangerous my friend. In a good way of course.
Omg, charbroiled oysters are sublime. Like manna from heaven! I don't prefer spinach, so I substitute with KALE, which is milder. Ken you are doing wonderful things with ur video's, keep up the great work. Oh, and who's the lady in the purple/mauve shirt that's always eating ur great food????
Here in Ireland we mostly eat our oysters raw. I rarely season them but sometimes add a single drop of Tabasco sauce and a small squeeze of lemon for a little heat and extra flavour! Anything more and you completely lose the original oyster flavour awesomeness. PS: Lea & Perrins Worchestershire sauce is pronounced just 'Wuster' sauce ;-)
You are making me hungry with those oysters. I love em anyway you can make em ill eat them. I from the Delmarva peninsula. Nothing beats a Chincoteague Virginia Oyster. Never tried a Louisiana oyster.
Hey man I'm telling you I need to be right there with you eating some of those good old beautiful oysters man I miss that I'm from Biloxi Mississippi and I'm living in Colorado springs and it's nothing like down south man keep getting your feet on keep making videos I'll watch.. God bless you and your family
It just makes me homesick!!! That was my life back in the day, but for the last 20 years I've been stuck in Illinois. These folks barely know what crawfish and oysters are...LOL. Awesome video!!! Just keep them coming! OH...and just to let you know how long it's been, the last sack of oysters we bought when I lived in Alexandria, was $19.00. I bet you can't touch them for that price these days.
