which one did you find to be the most sensitive when it came to fish strikes? Id assume the carbon would be the winner curious to your input
Carbon you can differentiate weed movement vs fish bite a bit more since the tip is stiff, elite any slight movement or bite even by baby fishes or tadpole the tip will wobble as it is ultra flexible and soft. Both have their pros and cons.
I have an Ugly Stik Elite and love it but was looking at the carbon rod - thanks I'm gonna buy a smaller Elite and save $40
Weight balance and comfort much superior to the carbon. Same casting distance. Much better rod than the carbon.
What are the specs on the rod for the elite or carbon Weights of line and length of rod ? Thanks.
I have both 6.6 feet and 7 feet versions for both elite and carbon. Line rating carbon is 6 to 12, elite is 6 to 14.
