Bubs Bee..1st off your hair is gorgeous, thick, coily, and lotta body..I enjoyed review of all products, I can’t wait til 10/1 🤦🏾♀️ gurl getting impatient 😂😭🤣 my wash day (wash monthly).. Our hair is so similar frfr my hair has several textures throughout and we both need heavy oil 🙋🏾♀️..my fav is Royal crown since baby BUT I ❤️❤️ her cream keeps my hair moisturized frfr.. Normally after washing I have to oil 3days/wk to build up, afterwards once a week..This cream Whitney made gurl 🤦🏾♀️ set it and done only mist 💦 daily, taking protective style down jus 💦 and it reactives OMG ❤️ 🤗 Whitney did her thang~thang frfr. Oil blend I do (4) line both sides/middle, nap massage all on scalp done.. I ❤️ using after 🚿 as well.
The stripped feeling is clarification the gunk has been removed from on top of the hair.

After I got saved, I started and continue to get a stronger relationship with God everything got and is getting better. My thinking, my relationships with people, my life and I have someone who I can rely on which is God. I just purchased from Ulta and I too was so impressed. The leave in conditioner made my hair feel incredibly soft. The shampoo thoroughly cleansed all the gel and oils out the first wash. I didn’t feel like I needed to use a lot of the product to get the desired results that I needed. Whitney really did her research I should have known I’ve been watching her for over 10 years!!! 😀👍🏽

Used the whole line for the first time and I have to say I’m sold!! The shampoo was stripping a little bit but my hair was still soft, not really tangled either like it normally does when I use a clarifying shampoo. I do wish it gave my scalp a lil tingle but the conditioner made up for it. The shampoo and conditioner pair well together🙌🏾🙌🏾 it just melted in my hair. I used it as a DC and as a leave in. I’ll continue to use it as a DC/leave in maybe add some steam like you said. Washing it out was a no for me though, felt like I was washing away all my moisture. The oil and twisting cream were great. I still have twists in my hair and they’re very moisturized 🙃

Your hair makes me so motivated to take my hair maintenance seriously. These products aren't available in my country but the techniques are still applicable to me so that's a win. I'm not big on styling so I'll stick to protective style for now. Great videos and thanks for the helpful content, it really helps.

Definitely wanted to see a whole wash day so I’m glad you made this video and on kinky 4B/4C hair too. I’m glad Whitney made a point to note that her shampoo is clarifying and that she intended for her conditioner to pair really well and add the moisture back. I think a lot of people are testifying to that. I didn’t like the conditioner as a leave-in or styler but I did like it as a prepoo/ detangler before cleansing and as
a rinse out conditioner/deep conditioner.

I purchased all of the products but have not used them yet. I'm hoping she does come out with a flaxseed gel next because I heard that the elongated twisting cream does not provide much hold. Your braidout came out great!
I think you will enjoy them !! and yea it definitely does not give any hold, so a gel with it would be great !!!

Honey my low porosity prone to major build up loves this shampoo!!!! I love the pre Poo recommendation! I did that and it came out amazing
That striping feeling is one this I am not looking forward to. You are right, once a month is good enough
i understand, once a month is definitely good for those who do not like the cleansed feeling, then in between use a moisturizing shampoo or even a cowash.
Lol I actually really like the stripped feeling but I also do a really good prepoo so my hair doesn’t get that stripped. I use regular head and shoulders because I used to get bad dandruff and itchy scalp. As long as I deep conditioner afterwards I’ve never had a problem with my hair feeling dry. I was and deep condition once per week

I love the shampoo. I did prepoo because that’s what I always do. Cleaned very well. It didn’t feel stripped. I didn’t have any more left but I like to use the leave in as a prepoo. I also love the oil.

I love how you don’t wash your hair in sections because that takes more time and the water should help not tangle the hair, no matter how thick and coarse and it helps to see on hair like mine that is thick and long but has shrinkage even during the wash.
So glad this visual helps, i definitely understand. I try to do things quick and efficiently

I have all of Melanin products, and my most favorite is the elongating cream and the oil. I only use the conditioner as a pre-poo so far. My hair did not respond well using it as a rinse out or leave-in conditioner. Now that I have the shampoo, I can't wait to see how my hair does using the entire system. Great positive video. Love your hair.

I used her shampoo for the first time yesterday and was shocked at the slip of the shampoo. It is stripping but like you said the moisture adds back immediately. I have all of the products in the line and love them!

Beautiful 😍 yes I just tried her products and I used all four products my hair is thick and high density high porosity so there was a learning curb first the shampoo cleanses but does not tangle and the cream I had to pair with her oil 👍🏽 works great 😊

Great video! I enjoyed the bits of ASMR! I have everything but the shampoo. My hair doesn't do well with stripping shampoos so I've been hesitant. I love the other products though! I also have the visor and a couple of her scarves! Great fluffy fro!

HUN!!!! Y'all!!!! I wanted these products ever since she dropped them but never ever ever purchased them online. Honestly I haven't been keeping up with her vids like I used to. so if she even mentioned her products were at Ulta I never heard. I don't wear make up daily and don't know how to do it, plus I can't spend money like that so I don't go into Ulta. I was looking online for some stuff for my husband problematic face and saw the black owned tab and low and behold I saw Whitney and ran to the store the next day. I bought both the conditioners and oil. My twist out is popping. I'm going to try it on my boys hair since they are growing there hair out now. Sorry for the long story time. I guess I should've stayed with your twist out does look great and moisturized.

What gets me the most, is that you wash your hair without doing sections😱...having longer hair makes that difficult for me these days😭.
The Doux "Sucka Free" shampoo also leaves a SQUEAKY clean feeling (plus ya don't need much to wash with) but Following up with the conditioner absolutely does the job.
I'm waiting to try the Melanin line (mine is in the mail)

I got the shampoo, cream and oil....I am STILL trying to find the leave-in conditioner at a store (they are not shipping this product from Ulta + it's of course sold out on her page)...the shampoo??? I legit detangled with it, just to see if I could...and I could and it was amazing! My hair was definitely, clean clean! But it didn't tangle...which is great

Hey Bubs! I have the leave-in but I can’t find a compatible gel. The mix test always fails. I love the smell though and the bottle size. Thanks for the heads up about Ulta selling it, because that shipping and handling price🤦♀️🤦♀️. When I need a good scalp cleansing, I either reach for my Alikay Naturals Moisturizing Black Soap shampoo or my Eden Bodyworks Peppermint Tea Tree shampoo...LOVE them👍. Your results are pretty. I find that you get phenomenal results with The Mane Choice and TreLuxe. Love your videos❤️.
Thanks so much for watching. I haven't tried it with gels yet so i do not have any recommendations for you, i have to test some combos out and see. And yes shipping was getting to be a drag for me too. and i love those shampoos as well, they both work amazing for my scalp and hair. and yes treluxe and the mane choice work well for me, i always love my results. but i do believe its about technique too!! having a good technique can almost make any product work.
I did not care for any of the products, but it works great for my 3b niece. Like her curls were POPPING.

I actually don’t use shampoo doesn’t clean my hair so I use apple cider vinegar then I go in with a deep conditioner 🤷🏾♀️
I understand, but shampoos do clean the hair, maybe you need to wash it more than once or use a different shampoo.
@@BubsBee well for me I’ve tried every shampoo you can think of just doesn’t get it as clean as I need but the main reason I’ve started using apple cider vinegar was for shine & growth my hair has grown so much since I stopped using shampoo I’m a lil past mid back now I have 4b/c I also have less split ends now🤔

it is more tapered yes!

Shampoos can work for any porosity in my opinion. I think you will be fine. Also Naptural 85 is high porosity.

I read the ingredients for this shampoo and there’s no African black soap on the ingredients label? Why is that?
Might be there, just broken down into its individual ingredients.

@@marshajones1850 When you put an already formulated product, ie african black soap, into another formulation for sale, you can't just write "african black soap". Customers need to know what they're buying in case of allergies or w/e. So you have to break it down like "palm oil, etc, etc."
Okay but I just checked other African Black Soap shampoo and they all have African black soap as a ingredient in their shampoo!

... looking at the ingredient list, i see sodium palm kernalate. That's the palm oil i mentioned earlier, but in soap form (the "sodium" part). So, as i said, the constituents of African black soap are, in fact, listed.
