Y’all…..ima just say this….the price might throw you off but it is WELL WORTH IT! Especially for my LOW-POROSITY girls 🤩 I have suuuper dense, low porosity hair and the moment I applied this I knew it would be a re-purchase. You do NOT need a ton of product with this one….it literally sank into my hair immediately which hardly ever happens with products. I did use heat but honestly, it was WELL absorbed before I was even under the heat cap. If you are low-porosity PLEASE give this one a try. Also my hair felt strong but it absolutely felt like butter at the SAME damn time 😱 this is a new holy grail for me just like the leave-in and oil.
Is it a weekly use type of DC or once a month vibe? I noticed it has more than one type of protein, also its for my 3 years. So im looking into getting some good hair stuff for her
I have low porosity dense hair too. I usually squeeze my hair dry and then add conditioner for deep conditioning because my hair will reject the conditioner if there’s too much water on my strands. Low porosity hair is so extra chile. 😂

I enjoyed your video and I’m happy that the treatment worked well for you. It looks healthy and hydrated. You didn’t too bad with the amount of application, I’ve seen much more used than that. Adding water is key when applying products. I’ve always had so much hair but, my mom never used the amount of conditioner that I see people using on TH-cam. And our hair was properly conditioned. I received my MHC preorder the other day along with one of their head wraps and a lollipop. I feel that’s a good gesture and it’s much appreciated. This was my first time ever pre-ordering anything….I was bummed by all the delays, but not pressed since I’ve been avoiding my hair like the plague. I finally got a shipping notification and my package should arrive Wednesday, but I just got braids last week 🤦🏾♀️. I’m glad the product worked for you. I’ll try it when I take my braids out in a few weeks.

I just bought this product. Haven’t used it yet. But I’ve seen some reviews where they use it how they use any deep conditioner and some where they use it per instructions. I’ve noticed the less positive reviews have been from the ones who deviate from their normal application process. So I will take your advice and use it how I usually use deep conditioners.
Hi Faye! Seeing your hands so easily glide through your hair after using that shampoo definitely has me wanting to give this another go. My hair stiffened up upon contact and o applied to soaking wet hair in the shower.
Oh wow!!!! What shampoo did you use? At first I was going to use the Melanin shampoo but I switched to the HH cosmetics black soap shampoo because it’s not moisturizing. I wonder did that help my experience
The shampoo is clarifying and only meant to go on your scalp per the bottle. But the leave-in restores the moisture if you do strip your hair along with your scalp.
This is the second or third video I've watched on the product. I've been feeling some kind of way about it because it was the end of September when I finally received it. I don't know that I even want to try it. Asked my daughter if she was interested, so I may just send it to her. I don't use a lot of products and primarily am an Olaplex girl, so the fact that I even wanted to try this was a big deal. I do have the other products she's made, though I haven't even cracked the seal on the shampoo. On a different note, I feel glad for you that your hair is growing back. You're beautiful, regardless, yet I understand how our hair is our crown. I am healing from scarring alopecia, so I know the struggle. Thank you for bringing a smile to my day. I love your content.
All I’ll say is your feelings are valid. I didn’t get into it much in the video because I didn’t want to be one of the ones who use “mess” for views but trust me: If my pre-order was held up for months, I’d feel exactly as you do.
So I did the preorder the day it launched. I just got mine about a week ago. I'm not fond of the scent. It gives relaxer. I also had a slight warming with it. You do get a lot for the price. But I'm not sure if I'd purchase again.

Yeah the price is kinda ehh BUT I’ve become a lazy natural. I used to deep condition my hair for over 30 minutes every wash day but now I just wear knotless braids. However, I still deep condition it with braids but it’s not as detailed being that my hair is mixed in with the braids. I love this deep conditioner & although the price was a lil high, it will last me a while.

I've learned through trial and error to order all of my Melanin products from Ulta to avoid delays. I love the product and she still gets her coins

Yeah the price is kinda ehh BUT I’ve become a lazy natural. I used to deep condition my hair for over 30 minutes every wash day but now I just wear knotless braids. However, I still deep condition it with braids but it’s not as detailed being that my hair is mixed in with the braids. I love this deep conditioner & although the price was a lil high, it will last me a while.
