That's Lee Know! Main Dancer, Lead Vocalist, Rapper, Visual. From being criticized as weak vocalist in 2017 to becoming one of SKZ vocal backbone. Proud is an understatement.
I am immensely proud of Lee Know 🥲 He could've just enjoyed his position as a dance leader and chill about the vocals, but he dreamed about becoming a proper singer and he made his dream come true! He dedicated hours and hours of his already crazy busy life to study with the vocalracha's coach and it so paid off

When you replayed that at 3:17-ish, that was Lee Know! He's been taking vocal lessons with the same coach Seungmin's used for years, and I have REALLY noticed his vocals leveling up over the past year. The solo song he released a couple of months ago was SO GOOD! I'm so proud of him! He's their dance leader, but his dream has always been to be a singer, and he has to feel so good about his progress.
I love that you called out how they're matching vocal styles here. I actually struggled a bit to figure out who was singing when sometimes, and usually I KNOW each of their voices. It was neat listening to something so different from their usual style.

I watched few reactions for this song but it’s really nice to watch someone who knows vocals and techniques professionally. So far he’s the only one who mentioned about them doing like a combination technique which the kids talked about. It was challenging for them to use like mix of chest and then head voice, they did that to maintain the tone of the song, overall. That’s why they kinda sounded the same, in a good way but you can still differentiate since some of them have different style, I’m not sure if I’m making any sense hahhaha

You may be interested to watch the Intro video Stray Kids made for this song because they get into how they all tried different vocal styles for this song. The voice you kept noticing was Lee Know, he's really come into his own as a vocalist lately. He did a cover of a Day 6 song- Love Me or Leave Me and it was incredible. I have always loved his voice but he's really put the work in considering he had no singing experience when he debuted- he's been working with a teacher for a few years now and studying really hard and his voice is so strong and stable now it's really shining.
Because Stray Kids rarely do a more typical pop vocal song you don't often hear them harmonise and sing like this but in covers etc they've done you can hear their harmonies are so good and they have a great ear for matching their voices. You see them talk about it sometimes in recording clips, being conscious of who is singing the sections either side of them and how to match or contract their tone and style. They're just really smart self-aware performers and I love watching it.
They worked really hard to master some techniques & styles that were different for most of them - you’d probably really enjoy the recently-released video from SKZ where they went though the writing, recording, production etc of the song

The two times you were impressed and gave props it was both times Lee Know's voice. He wasn't much of a singer at the start but his voice was always so unique and mesmerizing so he came a LONG LONG way and can now make the most out of it. He has a great tone and his mixed voice here does it alllll ♥

Felix's singing is so underrated I absolutles love how he is the middle of the Harmonie starting at 1:48 of Lose my Breath. Then a quick swap to Chan and then back to Felix. I also absolutley admire the way how they built up the Harmonies from 1:48 to 2:02. And to this the beatboxing in the Backround. Acapella-style! My ears are blessed!
I get carried away in Felix's parts. Felix's voice is very strong, both his vocals and his rapping are perfect.
No Felix is not underrated, a lot of people love his special and unique voice! It’s the voice of Changbin or Han that are underrated bc they’re rappers so everybody say they don't know how to sing well!😉😭

@@Haechaniny_K-POP well that's not true. Han is an ACE an all rounder. And we know that. He is amazing. Let me remind you of "I will be your Man" performance. It's crazy what Han can do with his voice. And we also see that in his Records like "13" or "Miserable you and me". Changbin has also amazing Vocals that sure don't show often but when they show, they are simply beautiful. Like in "Leave" or "Because" also "Streetlight" because he is not always rapping and I don't see him only as rapper. Every one of them is special and unice. And I think that Felix is also underrated. Especially because he is mostly rapping like Han and Changbin. But when all 3 of them show what they can do with their voices, it just blows people away. And "Lose my Breath" is something completely different for all of them but they managed it simply amazing and perfectly.
