I liked more the design of Drogon and friends. But definitely Caraxes has the most distinct design and looks like a spawn of hell, matching his riders temperament...
These dragons don't recognize how good a person you are, how noble you are or If you are motivated by the righteous of goals, ask Vermithor who he picked after King Jaehaerys I, and you will have a perfect example.
I like the theory that Daemons song is actually singing to the Targaryen ancestor that was sacrificed and thier soul shoved into the dragon. Not to bond with him but to remind him of his purpose. It makes sense to me that in the old country grandpa or grandma were offed and blood magic used to tied them to a dragon line. Encouraging incest to make sure dragons stay in the family because only decendents can bond. And making the whole "3 heads" literal. Just a theory but unhinged just like them.
I dunno, I feel it's something else. I mean, why "remind him" of his purpose? Just saying, probably did it so Vermithor would follow Daemon and Caraxes around sure but Vermithor will switch sides if his rider doesn't agree with Daemon.
We'd know if they were sacrificing Targaryians to birth Dragons, because there would be Targs going missing every time a dragon is born but there isn't.
In the books its actually one of the drsgonseeds who rides vermathor According to Fire & Blood, during the Dance of the Dragons, Vermithor gets a new rider named Hugh, a bastard and blacksmith local to Dragonstone.

i think cause of aegons prophecy being such a big secret, most targaryans who never sat the iron throne never knew the prophecy, only recently Alisson Hightower after the series , and maybe we’ll see the death of all the dragons play out with this not perfect bond plot
I wouldn't mind a video of the Dragon Keepers (is that their official term?), the (probably) brave and little insane souls that train and keep to the dragons. I wonder how skilled they are and how they're recruited and what not. What qualifications they have. It seems that's a job where odds are, you're going to be dragon lunch sooner or later, but who knows, maybe they got some serious skills and training to avoid that. Since they speak Valyrian, I wonder if part of the qualifications is being from old Valyria as well. Besides the obvious Targaryens and Velaryons, I think House Celtigar has roots from Valyria as well. I'm not entirely sure. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a few more different bloodlines that escaped the Doom of Valyria.
I've always wanted to know if the length of their staves mean anything. There's an episode, I believe the one when daemon is rock climbing on dragonstone and finds the clutch of three eggs. They zoom out on the dragon keepers and one of the staves was like 12-15 feet tall, and the other was like 30 feet tall, something I'm genuinely curious about
House Celitigar was a Valyrian house which settled in the narrow sea before house Velaryon, who in turn settled there well before House Targaryen. Velaryons were already close allies with the Targaryens before either of them moved there, but the Celtigars were not. There are subtle hints that the two houses did not really get along. One of the Conqueror's first acts in Westeros was to take the lands of Crackclaw Point away from House Celtigar, promising the inhabitants would never need to swear fealty to anyone but the Crown, but the Celtigars defied him and kept sending tax collectors there anyway. Every attempt to wed a Celtigar daughter to a Targaryen has been refused. I like to think that the Celtigars were to the Targaryens as the Boltons were to the Starks, or the Casterlys to the Lannisters, or the Yronwoods to the Martells. My tinfoil hat headcanon is that the Celtigars were actually dragonlords once, and may have been the ones who founded Dragonstone, but that they lost control of their beasts by the time the Targaryens arrived and drove them off the island. I like to think Cannibal is the last feral descendant of the Celtigar dragons, which is why he so hostile to all the Targaryen dragons.
See the 1 rider per dragon (living rider) “rule” is obviously brought up in fire and blood on purpose multiple times, BUT I dont think that its actually true!! Hear me out: SO to explain ill use Daenerys “The Mother of Dragons” as an example, show or books either way my point will still make sense. Daenerys had 3 dragons and yet was Drogon’s rider, BUT since the other 2 were rider-less and used to being around their “mom” Daenerys.. If the situation came like in the fighting pit where She needed to ride on Rhaegal or Visereon to flee danger or for her own safety IM PRETTY DAMN SURE that she would do so without Drogon needing to die first lol. And thats just hypothetical but the point im making is that I think common sense indicates that there are certain situations where the 1 Targaryen per Dragon is NOT true. You can use many different examples using Daenerys especially where she could have rode the other 2 dragons and she would not be harmed or thrown off if it was needed. I dont think it would be smart to try this unless necessary because who knows if Drogon would be angry or attack the other dragons, but still my point would stand true because Daenerys would have mounted a 2nd dragon and lived! And to wrap this up and tie back into HOTD & Daemon & Vermithor, the situation is similar because Vermithor has no rider currently which I think is the key factor!! I think its more like you cant Mount a dragon that has a current/living Rider already. Im not sure the “Dragon has 3 heads” prophecy has anything to do with what Daemon was doing and personally I also dont think Daemon will mount Vermithor, however it is possible . So when trying to figure out why we were shown that scene of Daemon & Vermithor and trying to predict what will come next because of that we SHOULD NOT automatically rule out That he may Ride Vermithor because of the so called “1 dragon per Rider rule”. Again this is speculation but with some clear common sense logic behind it .. And I have read the books up to current and Fire & Blood at least 3+ times so im aware of the very low odds of the circumstance where my theory comes into play, and i dont even think im a fan of this actually happening, but the Daemon & Vermithor scenario in the HOTD show does fit pretty damn well with my idea!!
