what’s the exhaust setup like on it? equal length or unequal headers? straight pipe? true dual, xpipe, or something else? it sounds so good!
Equal length headers into 3" X Pipe, and then twin 3" exits near the back wheels. An enlarged oval exit at the tips finish it off. A real cracker on this engine. Cheers.
Do you have a rev limiter on that thing? Recently bought a notchback with a carb'd 302, which is my first car with a carb. Anyway, no rev limiter, so it's a bit nerve racking.
Yeah, this has an adjustable spark cut. It was set at 7600 in this clip. They're a wise investment in your future happiness, especially with a roller cam.👍
Sounds like you could use 1 more gear.
Great sound, can't beat a small block ford.
Cheers, the Car had a different sized slick with a lower sidewall than it normally runs here. It geared the car down enough to cause this on the back straight, it was fine with the other rubber. This was just a shakedown from a long time with no use in storage, it needs another video doing now I think.👍
Ok how did you make it sound like this?
High compression, solid roller camshaft and twin 3" sidepipes.👍
❤
Nothing Ford has today can compare with the 289 271 hp keep on Dreamin Ford Coyote and with the Boss 429 all the Coyote would see is 6 taillights Period!!!!!!!!
Even the mighty Predator? The only thing Ford has that can keep up with the Predator even remotely is the 427 SOHC, which is vastly more powerful than any other stock American V8 that came out of the 60s. Built? That Predator can handle 2500 all day on stock block (with sleeves), stock crank, and OEM heads. The sky is the limit for the Coyote platform.
@@The-fs5wn Its getting Waist deep about that Predator Coyote its your dream So keep wishing
you are delusional.
289 loves Rpm
Dunno why...don't even know if my claim makes sense...but I always thought the 289 sounds better than the 302...
