I used to update by budget every month too and I would never do it because it was too many transactions 😩 I got an app to do that for me now, although I'm low-key worried about my information being safe lol, but it's so much easier and helps me to stay on track
I love this!!! It’s so amazing seeing someone who looks like me talking about these things :) I would just say to mention you’re Canadian because we don’t have that account in the US (I think it’s called an IRA here)
Savings tip try doing eye exercises. My vision was going bad at first but after some research on TH-cam for eye training it is no longer blurry. It’s free to search on TH-cam. You can pass on the savings by making some more videos on investing 😅
This was very insightful. Hypothetically, how would you approach budgeting and savings on a minimum wage if you were in that situation? Can you do something on this?
Thanks for the video, Reni!! How do you keep track of all your savings/investment goals in different accounts? Are they in different banks or multiple accounts within the same bank?
I have multiple bank accounts! I have a main account that all money comes into and then savings in other banks. I have all the apps in my phone and check them every two weeks, I also have alerts on all my accounts!
Reni, I’ll really like to know why you prefer the TD direct investing for your TFSA rather than WS (which I know charges less fees generally). I recall from your previous videos that TD has more outlay of US stocks but is there another major benefit to using TD?🤔
I like both! I use Wealthsimple for my Canadian stocks and TD for my US. Td has much better research and more variety of stocks but I’m a fan of both🫶🏾
@@xoReni thank you so much! This helps. I’m in my get-my-finances-in-order era and your tips and the knowledge you consistently share both here and IG have been nothing short of amazing!🫶🏽
How much are you planning to invest or save this year? Let me know!
Automated settings have been helping me save better this year. It’s so amazing to see how much I’ve been able to save with minimal effort
It's a game changer fr!
It’s so cool to see a similar video to exactly what I just posted about from a Canadian perspective.
I'll check it out!
Thanks for this! I currently use your savings plan and it’s being so helpful ❤
Yayyy I'm so happy to hear this ❤
thank you for always taking out time to educate us, you too much!
My pleasure! ♥
This is a very detailed breakdown, the spreadsheet is also a great idea. I hope to save 50% of my income by the end of the year 🤞🏽
50% is huge! I love to see it!
This is very helpful. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!
I think updating your budget weekly is great
game changer frrrrr
What a beautiful breakdown…the excel sheet is phenomenal…. Do you like semi conductor etfs? Or singular stock?
Thank you! I like broad market index ETFs! Haven't looked into semi-conductor etfs at all.
Hey! I would love to see your video on the RRSP benefits. I have a few TFSA’s but I’m thinking on opening an RRSP this year!
Working on it now! Thanks for the suggestion!

Automating things is always a good idea haha! Taking the human element out of it is so helpful.
Reni! Please do a video dedicated to RRSP! I'm learning about it now and you are my go to for financial literacy
Will do 😊

Thanks for the feedback :)

Thanks for your question! Is this minimum wage in Ontario?
@@xoReni sure, that works
Great content👌🏾Do you happen to have a video about High-Interest Savings Accounts please?

Have you considered just investing in a Robo advisor ETF portfolio?
I do this!
@@xoReni I use RBC investEase. What do you use?
@@SANJ0288 Wealthsimple invest!
@@xoReni I've read WS has slighly lower fees on portfolios over 100K.
Please how do I create pocket savings and automate them on my eq bank app? I will appreciate an assistance
You just open multiple high interest savings accounts and name them according to your goals ☺️
If I may ask, which tech stocks have you purchased?
Apple, Microsoft, Shopify, Tesla, are some that I own
