I would definitely avoid any listing for an optiplex with RTX 4090. However I have a meetup tonight to buy an HP elite desk with 5090 for $499. Wish me luck.
The scammer would have been better off being successful at this lazy scam by just copy and pasting a nice PC off google images instead of putting the pics of this dell he got scammed into buying from ebay lol
The reason you could not see the listing is because Facebook has hidden account tethering. This is so when you block someone they can't just make a new account and immediately start harassing you again. It uses IP address hardware ID and cookies to link together other accounts. So if you want to see the listing is still up you'll have to use another device with a VPN with a separate Facebook account to bypass the account tethering mechanic. Their system is fairly robust at recognizing multiple accounts so it has to be a completely different device.
Hello Brother, as insistiant as the seller was on meeting soon and that you bring cash, my fear was that you were going to show up and get robbed at gun point. My suggestion would have been to arrange a meeting at a public place, like the parking lot of your local police station.
I never buy used components, only new with warranties from store. But if i would buy used,i will insist meeting at a public place or near police station. The scammers are not fond of police. And when i sell my stuff,i sell it or donate to my friends.Everybody is happy.
If you're sold something you can't confirm is working in front of a police station they're long gone. You know NOTHING about them and won't see your money again. Go to their house, test in person - or at least pick up at their house. This is the way to go, usually. Maybe not in the US where leaving the house means you'll probably get shot. But the way you described is how you get scammed.
the most powerful low profile cards i can think of are a 4060 from gigabyte or a 4070 proart. both are 2 slot cards and would suffocate in one of those slim optiplexs even if there was holes in the case for air to come through. Christmas season is also scam season unfortunately
Hi DML Tech, I've been watching your channel & I find it intriguing. (By The Way I already Subscribe😁) Have a question, I was giving a dell optiplex 3020 & follow your video to transfer to a new gaming RGB case. Everything is working awesome, but I only get this problem........ Alert! Front I/O Cable Failure....... Any suggestions how can I get rid of this, Thanks. Keep it going your channel rules. Good Night.
I think the problem.lies with the proprietary plugs of the front io cable. DELL is famous for different Pin layouts and plug sizes...😢 Maybe there's an option in the BIOS to switch the alerts off!!? Sometimes there are adapters to adress the problem
Heads up, if that’s how any seller responds to you. Bro is a red flag Major red flags is when the fb profile is made 2023/2024 and especially with little to no pictures and friends
its fine to ask the generic hi is this still available text on marketplace but the reason why i don't respond much anymore to it is because when I do they don't respond back 90% of the time lol so it goes nowhere and just waste time now i just put in my adverts wont respond to generic hi is this still available messages anymore to save time on my end because i know if they send that through then they didn't read my ad fully and that's not someone i would want to sell too anyway someone who doesnt bother reading what they are going to be buying
Haha, yeah got me a Dell Optiplex but knew what it was, a i7 variant and they are not useless I`ll add as I added only a RTX 3050 lp and using DLSS it`s pretty darn potent in fact I was going to sell it but was too impressed by it, so yeah keeping that one but of course at the end of the day NOPE would not pay £1000 for it, and I have a 4090 and it sure as sh@t will not fit in the optiplex case!

im picking up a ryzen 4070 today, wish me luck!
might be the scam 4090 that was like an overclocked gtx 660 for $30.
Nothing beats my Core I9 16800😂
Bro recorded the audio in the shower
Who's taking a shower in the background?
custom water loop for optiplex 4090 laying flat
god aka rain
This deal was too good to be true! Just like you said: a 4090 alone sells for around 1500, so something has got to be wrong with this one...
And even if they would produce something like a 4090 LP it would be 4000 bucks or so 🤣
@@username_1985 exactly 😂

Where are you located? You are finding some good deals from watching your videos. Out here in Houston it’s a major hit or miss.
maybe custom water cooled, like your shop, by the sound of it?

The basketball sticker was a dead giveaway that this was a scam. If you see that sticker, don't buy it no matter what it is.
Those damn Facebook scammers lol
Not enough info, next!
lol anyone with experience, and common sense won't fall for this scam.
Sadly people that will fall for it aren't experienced, but are looking for a gift.

I have a low profile single slot RTX 3050
Smell a scam, just report it. Don't let someone else get scammed.
Scammers are worried about scammers... noice.

How dumb is this scammer that people simply won't check the system specs upon pickup?
Sounds like your in the shower!
