Here, Paul continues to elaborate on his larger point of justification by faith. He does this by demonstrating the inferiority of the Mosaic Law as opposed to the promise God gave to Abraham. The promise is fulfilled in Jesus, and those who believe in Jesus are its recipients. Thus, faith in Jesus supersedes the Mosaic Law.
