Well that was emotional! Two things - #Techsurvies & #bringonseason3!
This finale hit me a little harder than I would have thought. The time we spent with Tech and his character growth this year really had me invested.
Please bring back The Bad Batch for season 3!

Tech's death was so well handled. He was growing all season, right to his last moment when he finally let the emotion out in a sigh of acceptance and a perfect line delivery before executing plan 99.
It reminded me of Kanan getting his sight back right in his last moment.

To anyone wondering, the 2 unnamed officers in Tarkin's High Command are General Romodi (the balding one) who appeared in A New Hope and Rogue One, and Admiral Coburn from the Clone Wars.
I love that they brought back Coburn and that he's pretty much the only nice officer present ❤
We have gotten some great cameos this week in Star Wars shows. A live action Zeb and an animated Krennic. I'm loving it. The animation has been amazing this season. The lighting effects when they were walking through the forest looked so good.
And a daughter cameo in our Bad Batch reaction!!

I had to stop watching the reaction after episode 15 because I didn't realize that episode 16 had been released as well so I had to watch it before finishing your reaction. I'm holding out hope that Tech is still alive somehow. The ending had and Empire Strikes Back ending feel to it.
The voice actors have stated that they expect to return for season 3 but I don't think there has been an official statement yet.
Still not convinced Tech is gone yet. Had fun watching along with your reactions to this series👍

Well, in Star Wars there's never been a main character who fell out of sight, 'to certain death', that was actually confirmed to be dead. In fact, I think Mace Windu is the only one that we don't actually know survived their 'death'.
This makes me so nostalgic to how me and my dad would watch the Clone Wars together. Thank you for the video :)
The big panel for Monday at Celebration is A Bad Batch panel so would be very surprised if they don't announce Season 3 at that. Didn't get into it in the raffle but will be queuing up early to hopefully get in as have really enjoyed this season and would love to see that panel.
Peter Cushing's delivery of "I grow tired of asking, so this will be the last time. Where is the Rebel base?" is probably my favorite performance in the entire franchise.

Cid did what we thought she would and still hurt us because we hoped she couldn't do it to this team that was nice and worked alongside with her.
Next week will be Star Wars Celebration in Europe and we just have to have our fingers crossed for them to announce the third season as soon as possible.
I was down that Wednesday after watching this season finale, he was my favorite and I'm hoping for Tech to be alive but also I hope he isn't because his sacrifice couldn't mean the same.

At that height, a body of water won't make that much of a difference on impact. The Empire doesn't care about the clones. And if Tech did survive, Tarkin wants the Batch for questioning. Hemlock would not be able to keep him even if he wanted to.
Tech's death reminds me of Bucky Barnes falling from the train in the first Captain America movie so I can't decide if I think he's really dead or if he's going to be turned into a Winter Soldier-type character. Still cried though 😭

Tech is not dead; it is a swerve. Crosshair will be the one to die next season as a sacrifice in saving Omega and his brothers. That will be his full redemption, which will have weight, especially after him not being able to actually save Mayday, albeit, his actions gave him back his humanity, which is a redemption of sorts. If they actually kill-off Tech, then it is a hollow sacrifice, which is used too much and lacks weight/gravity juxtaposed to the aforesaid storyline regarding Crosshair.
#Tech Survives! First rule of television, no body = no death. Hemlock was taking way too much pleasure taunting the Batch with the goggles, he knew they would be leverage. Tech is probably in the lab being experimented on by his new sister. (🙏) Thanks for a great season of Bad Batch reactions!

Just like 99 did when Kamino was attacked in The Clone Wars. Probably why it's called "Plan 99".
I hate Saw's tactics but as someone who gave psychosocial support to refugees in the past I also love Saw as a character due too his realistic actions. Although his actions are repetitive, it still applies very much in the real world. Remind you that he was one of the first characters that caused the spark of the Rebellion due too his actions on Onderon. He later parted ways with the Rebellion due too his extreme tactics which cared little for collateral damage. Those tactics also caused him to lose his sister blinding him with anger, rage and regret. His character reminds me of Pain from Naruto whom I wrote about years ago in college. Pain lost so much due too other parties who destroyed his nation, that he ultimately became the very thing he hated. Blinded by those emotions he took out not only high ranking opponents but also civilians. Its similair too the refugees I helped from AF and ME and during my time in those places. I've met people who lost their siblings, parents or friends in U.S. airstrikes and during civil war. They were never compensated for those losses, instead they felt attacked by a foreign entity who either directly attacked them or deliberately set up locals against eachother but they did not seek revenge. That's why I love Saw's character and Star Wars. You're no different from the empire once you act like them. In the real world, we might see ourselves as the rebels but who says that we're not the empire and the real rebels are the people we invaded in the name of democracy and freedom while we all knew that national resources were looted and the wrong parties were given financial support which sparked even more division and terror amongst the local population, even locking up those who say the truth (Assange). Anyone, literally anyone can become a rebel or someone who inflicts extreme terror when they go through injustice inflicted by others, especially foreign entities. Saw is a product of his environment, he might be repetitive but his character is as real as it gets. Steela kept him in line, she saw the bigger picture but once he lost her, those uncontrollable feelings only fed his hunger for extreme tactics. Logic is thrown out of the window and the only thing that matters is inflicting damage irregardless of the civilian casualties. That's the irony of men. We're all sad and angry about Techs death being caused by Saw but in reality, from his perspective, it was the Batch that sabotaged his mission. We as the spectators witnessed Tech's story, his highs and his lows but if we never were introduced to his character, we would've cared less for his death. One of my favorite quotes from Tech "Understanding you does not mean that I agree with you" also applies to Saw. His character is so realistic and I understand him but I'd never agree with his actions.
Tech is alive, I feel it in my bones!!! Otherwise I'll be so bummed 😂
I was thinking about the finale this morning and thinking that next season Phee is going to confront Cid about her betrayal and make her feel guilty about what she did. And remind her that if not for Tech helping her in that race episode she would probably be dead right now so she owes them.
They should have just tracked crosshairs message.

This episode has similarities to Episode 5: Cid's action is similar to Lando's, & Omega was captured just like Han. Hopefully season 3 will be like Episode 6. And Tech will be back!

Star Wars Celebration in Europe should announce a season 3 of Bad Batch, and I don’t know if you know but we might also have a season 4 for The Mandalorian and again we are still waiting for that panel in SW Celebration. This was a good Bad Batch season by far.

I really loved Tech but honestly I think it would be better storytelling if he really is gone. It would make his sacrifice less meaningful if he survived.
