The 4GB of VRAM is the killer on that laptop because you cant upgrade it. Why buy a machine now that you already need to turn the settings down to medium to play? The 3050ti and any gaming laptop now should have 5 or 6 GB of VRAM and then it would be a beast when you add more gigs of RAM.
Not everyone is strictly playing triple A games and for the average joe its a decent entry level laptop, the common folk don't focus on vram this vram that also vram does not entirely define the performance of a gpu there are more factors that come into play that makes it work. Also if you gonna argue about not enough vram on modern games blame Nvidia for not coming into their senses that vram is important and overpriced their products for more than it should be. All in all this is a budget gaming laptop idk what you were expecting, if you want a near flawless experience then good luck spending 2k dollars for that.

My suggestion watch as many youtube videos by both content creators and also people who actually use those laptops daily, that will give you the best indication RE the potential problems etc
@@laptoptweakingtips yup will do! Thanks for your answer!! 👍
This is a great laptop but i recommend waiting and finding a RTX 3060 on sale for 900, it's gonna hold you over with that 6gb Vram
Hey I was wondering how long would it take for y’all to ship a pc out I just ordered a pc from y’all yesterday
I got the i7-11700H with 16gb for $900
Im planning to buy a gaming laptop so for 2023 whats the best for under or at $800?
For the performance mode on any laptop you need to press fn + q at least on my low budget laptop is like that or just go in the bios (for the lenovos)
I have the SE 2021 model with the 5600m and is way better than this new one with the 3050. Built quality kinda sucks but on performance is very good. They sell it for like 500$ on eBay.
Also the 5600m has 6gb of vram
Thanks for the patios vid now I can get a good laptop
How do you make it run at 120hz?
I saw $700 gaming laptop and was expecting a gtx 1650. 3050ti is an awesome GPU! it’s more powerful than the GTX 1060 in my 4 year old Alienware. Great for 1080p 60 fps gaming.
Where do I get a water dragon shirt like that? Thanks for the videos keep it up guys
I add a monitor and performance increase a lot
Hi, great videos, any idea what the color gamut is for the screen? Thanks
Makes me want to get a laptop and I don't even need a laptop
I don’t know if you already said it but adding 8GB of RAM could help
True i did and got like 4x more performance
What ram do you recommend getting to add?
U need 16 dude
Did they not paste the CPU... That's insanely hot
What is the part number to look for on Dell's website? 👍
Hello! I bought a laptop from asus (Tuf FX506LH) and the performance was under my expectations. Ther Ram after i installed games in the desktop was at 7.5Gb/8Gb. i want to get the Crucial Balistix 16 gb dual channel memory at 3200MHZ( I think it will only work at 2933 because the I5-10300H or at 2400 in my pc case with the i5 9400f [I can't change the speed to 2666 in bios]) and see the performance boost. I expect it to be 2 times better.
Aye thx mates I’ve been looking for a decent laptop
I got something like this... Nearly same specs of not the same. It broke after a month of use... Had to wait 3 weeks to be shipped a new one. (They at first offered to give us a refurbished computer, of course we said hell naw)
Great review. I am excited to see what this would look like with additional RAM. I wish you guys to do another review with more RAM to see what this laptop can really do.
i own this laptop and i upgraded it to 16gb ram in dual channel and i got double the performance in almost every game
Nice to hear thanks
@@mrviewless4966 how much did the upgrade cost?
@@jason401. the ram cost about $55 I believe. I also put in a 1tb ssd which was about $90
@@mrviewless4966 ight thanks
hello good test! can you please tell me when software to get the info of temp and frames on the top left?
So is it actually safe buying from official websites
Yes and Ebay
was that bottom cover already open after they've unboxed it 3:24 ?
I do not know why but I could not open both links for this computer. Can you say its name?
Just bought ryzen 5600H with rtx 3050 for $596 in excited for it!
Please can u check and tell how much fps do you get in Fortnite lowest setting (performance) in a solo game
@@razerdrip4636 yea sure man, at low settings with dlss on I averaged 160 fps,
but I have 16 gb of ram and most of the models as far as I know come with 8gb.
You will still get ok performance with 8 but much better with 16.
@@Luke-cp9cb thank you so much
i'am torn apart between buying ideapad gaming 3 or dell G15 with same spec (rtx3050) what do you suggest me to buy ? what im really concerned about is the heat and the noise ?
@@souheilbichiou6644 I don’t have experience with the ideapad 3 but I have heard good things. The dell g15 gets loud with intensive stuff but that isn’t an issue for me, and I haven’t had any heat problems.
Just go with your gut or choose what you can get cheaper! Both great devices
You guys should add dying light 2 to test pc/laptops
How do you upgrade ram
one thing i did find is your not using the 3050ti till you use the hdmi
I have the version with ryzen 7 5800h and get about 100 plus fps on fortnite. So for 1k for the ryzen edition its definitely worth it. Thinking about getting another stick of ram. Any recomendations for what i should get?
I got the same as in the vid and get 144+
@@factyyshorts i used to get that fps, now for some reason i get like 40 to 60. dont know what happened
@Gold_Gamr bro only play with the charger on dont play without charger and if you do and you still have that fps idk what to say make some research
@@factyyshorts yeah i play with charger so maybe its cause i started using my monitor and my laptop screen instead of just monitor so maybe thats it cause my fps in everything has been slightly lower since i started using both
bro it went from $700 to $1000 so fast
Epic video! Can I share a link of a laptop i am looking at please!

I saw a deal on this laptop for $350 and $400
that laptops a chunky boy. U guys should try reviewing the Asus TUF Dash F15 3050 ti i7, that's the one I use and its really good!
Use DLSS when testing since you have a Rtx Graphics Card.
It’s $1100 on Best Buy rn lol
When are the giveaway winners being Announced
Thank you sooo much for making this video
I have the exact same laptop ( except that I got 11th gen i5 )
I wanted to know why my fps is lower than I expected , turns out its only the ram
thank you so much
Yes 16gb will be good as a upgrade for the future
Just found you aall. Did subscribe. How do I find out about deals ? Thanks
Not me seeing laptop prices drop after buying a Gigabyte gaming G5 for 850 lol I feel taken advantage of
I'd never use a laptop with 8gb so i always upgrade it to 64 to 128gb and fill all slots, I also add 3tb ssd before I use, anyway what do you guys thinks better liquid metal or thermal compound paste?
Jesus you only need 32 gigs
I use 16!
before i use any gaming laptop i forge it fire. then test it dripping from roof.
Who else is having the issue where it says error when clicking the Amazon link
there are many G15’s on dell outlet for less than 650$
16 gb is a must
