2:11 👍 Debris on eyelids. Extremely mild soap and cleansing / drying and with CLEAN items. Have had that scenario for decades. Annoyance, but very manageable.

Thank you Doctor. Great info. I use a hot water soaked wash cloth to moisten the eyes in mornings. It feels soothing. is hot wash ok?

Based on this video, you would know that in order to find the right treatment, you would first have to know the cause of your symptoms. Seeing your eye doctor would be a good start! 👍🏻

Just a general question regarding blocked tear ducts. I have an appointment in a few days with my optometrist and I'm wondering if it's safe to get my pupils dilated if my tear ducts are still blocked? Reason for my question is that I fear that if the drops do not successfully drain through my tear ducts and later through my nose then my pupils could be dilated indefinitely. Please help me in dispelling my ridiculous fear of this possibility. Thank You!

Dilation eye drops won’t dilate your pupils indefinitely. Like most medication, it’s effect wears off with time. I would trust your optometrist’s judgment, based on his/her assessment, on whether you would benefit from a dilation exam or not. All the best! 👍🏻
