Mud buster looks very interesting. Thanks for the ideas. My doggie has his own "suitcase" which holds his collapsable bowls, food, blankets, toys, treats, and vet information. Sounds silly but has really made traveling with him easier.

We started going RVing this past summer in California. We bought some Ultra Paws Durable Dog Boots for our Aussie. We noticed in hot climate she was walking differently, also on rocky areas. This is to protect their paw pads from the hot, cold or rough ground.

I have 3 chronologically superior pampered pooches. My must have additions are
1. A large wide collapsable step. It helps them get up into the RV and up into the bed.
2. 3 large inexpensive dog beds for outside so the have a comfy place to lie in the shade..while tied down of course ;)
3. I make broth ice cubes so they can have cool treats after a stroll
Hey Matt! One thing also dog owners should get - harnesses. Leads that wrap around the neck can cause tracheal collapse especially the more the dog pulls against the leash. This is the one thing I want every dog owner to know. A harness ($30-ish) bought now at Petsmart, Petco, Chewy etc can save a lot of hassle in the future. It wraps around them and you just connect on the back area.
Have the pet temp. monitor worth every penny. You set the high temp and low temp and if it hits those numbers it will email your cell. There is a fee for that service but well worth it. We set the low temp to be 33 degs. here in Texas yesterday at 2:30 AM it let me know and I was able to raise the temp so nothing would freeze. At the time it dropped to 18 degs. out side. It can save you dog & you RV also. Note if it goes off it will email you updates every 5 mins. with date , time & temp. till you do something.
Food bowl drawers, for those units where they're not built in... Keeps food from bouncing out on rougher roads if they leave some in.
Just bought the mywaggle. The whistle pet tracker is one we have, it a gps tracker that connects to your phone.

Oh my gosh I need the Dexus Mudbuster! I did not know that was a thing I use solo cups! We have a red golden retriever and the hair in between her toes collects so much dirt and mud. I will also look into the My Waggle. We have not heard of this brand and we are searching for just this kind of thing to keep her safe. We tried a Govee but that did not work well for us. I know others have had great success with it maybe we just bought a bad one. Thanks for sharing!

Pet identification is priority for us. We watch our dogs like hawks but stuff can happen. Our dogs are chipped and fully tagged with contact info in case they get lose.
We have 4 dogs and know how important these items can be. Great Job keep up the good work.

I’ve also heard it’s really good to have step covers if your steps are the type that have holes in them. Many a dog caught their nail and injured themselves. 😱

We have a 2015 retro Winnebago. We're looking to upgrade our tv's. It doesn't seem anyone has a answer exactly what's best way. We're going full time and I want my systems to work easy. Problem, I want it dumbed down to be easy. Maybe a show on places to get this done or ideas. Poop ta poo.

Hello Matt my husband and I have been following and watching all your videos as we navigate the transition to full time RVing. We like your energy and passion for unbiased reviews. So we made the decision to reach out to you. We have tried to fill the form on your website, we have sent an email to the email you put in the description, we have called the number as well as texted it. The only thing missing is for us to try to FaceTime lol. We got an email back from Phil Collie which we replied but we have not heard back from him or you and it has now been over a week and half. It should be mandatory for campers with pets to have a temperature monitoring system for their rv. I've heard/read horror stories of pets passing away in an overheated rv because the rv lost power while the owners were away. No cost is too great to protect your pet.

Sorry, but these days, I'm much more interested in where in the hell I can put a litter box in an RV.
After 20+ years of having dogs, I now find myself the custodian of a 10 month old cat.
... and we really want an RV to see the world - or at least the continental U.S. - in.
So... until I end up with another dog - or 10 - tell me about the cat-related stuff.
( Had 8 at one time, at the same time, util just before the cat came along. )
( Yes, I need to know the cat's "Prime Pooping Position". )
What's a good place really depends on RV layout... Get one with a cover to minimize covering splatter of the litter on the floor and can put it whereever it fits.
The best pet accessory is a person that doesn't leave their dog alone in an RV -- just saying
IF YOUR A FULL TIMER OR A PART TIMER OR EVEN CAMPING....MICROCHIP YOUR DOG WITH A HOME ADDRESS WITH SOMEONE THAT DOES NOT NOT PUT YOUR PHONE NUMBERS ON IT AND A PHONE NUMBER THAT DOESN'T TRAVEL MUCH.
ALSO HAVE THE CHIP INFORMATION ON THEIR COLLAR AND SHOTS AND NAME INFO.

WALKING A DOG WITH THEIR LEASH ON THEIR NECK IS STRAINING THEIR NECK AND SOMETIMES HAVING HAIR LINE FRACTURES IF YOUR DOG PULLS OR IS FEARED BY SOMETHING QUICKLY AND BOLTS. TALK TO YOUR VETS ABOUT IT. THE VEST IS MORE COMFORTABLE TO WALK WITH AND LEAVE THE COLLAR FOR TAGS ONLY.
