since you like shinee and twice, you should check out jihyo & momo's collab with taemin back in 2019!! momo & jihyo had been covering taemin's sayonara hitori (goodbye) on tour, then got to do a special stage of it with him for the mbc gayo daejeon that year. there's also a short clip of them meeting taemin to discuss the collab, and it's adorable omfg. thank u for the reactions!! 😊

The reason for that is Japanese culture/mindset is nowhere near as strict as it is in South Korea. Also, with Japan being such a HUGE market, JYP knows he can push the envelope more there an by doing so uses the Japanese market as a tester for what he can potentially take globally but mainly to us here in the states. Now, on the our Baby Beast, Strawberry Princess or as I frequently refer to her, THE Icon Son Chaeyoung she kills it every mv, every dance practice, every melody project and just everything she’s involved with. We all know that Twice visuals are unrivaled and OT9 are the Duality Queens but DUBCHAENG (Dahyun & Chaeyoung) are on another level with their duality. It’s a damn cheat code!!! 😂 Anyways, you’re fully immersed now! “Once” you start getting into the Japanese tracks and all B-sides that’s when you get to the meat and potatoes of the music side of TWICE. The variety shows and Time To Twice is where you will completely fall in love with each member bcuz you’ll get to truly know them and fully connect with them as a fan and family. I think it's the fanbases. Korean onces are whiny and hard to please so Japanese team is probably much more comfortable and free while creating content. They experiment in bsides usually. Dahyun said that in Korean albums they have a theme and if they wrote a lyrics it has to be within the theme but in Japanese albums they're free to write about whatever they want, which supports my guess. And if TWICE was gonna stick to one language i would say Japanese in a heart beat. I love them i hope they do a wide tour there in following months. I lowkey want them to exclude Korea since they don't deserve it after this fanmeet incident lmao
You should check out TAEMIN, MOMO &JIHYO covering TAEMIN'S GOODBYE(sayonara hitori) cover....it's really good ....but if don't remember the original choreo you should check out TAEMIN'S HIT THE STAGE performance for GOODBYE with his choreographer...it's really good 👍
hiii! ive already commented this on a couple of your vids but i don't think you saw it. just wanted to say you should check out (G)I-DLE. they're really amazing and they just had an INCREDIBLE comeback (with an amazing message + concept). i think you'd really enjoy their music, which is also mostly written by their leader (soyeon), sometimes the other members as well and, as i said, their stuff tends to have really beautiful and empowering messages. some songs i reccomend are HWAA, TOMBOY, Oh My God and Nxde (their new tt) but their entire discography (including b-sides) is top-tier to say the least. hope you react to them one day! i'd love to see a few videos on them :) either way, keep up the amazing work! your videos are so entertaining, they honestly make my entire week :)
ive been watching Twice MVs every single day since June and Move never came into my recommended videos for some odd reason. It's amazing being so new to Kpop and finding all these groups that have been around for a few years and they have soooo much stuff out. They do things differently in the music business in Korea compared to what we are used to here in the western world. You'd never see an american singer release 3 albums in a year and put out 3-4 MVs for a mini album that has like 8 songs on it.
Ain’t going to lie the first time I heard breakthrough. I didn’t like it that much. I liked the verses but I didn’t like the chorus. But after a few more listens it’s a total bop. I love the rap and the “break break breakthrough bre-bre breakthrough” part. But the song overall is good. And for the cover that’s the first time I’ve seen it but damn. The dancing and singing is so good! And Momo too. Like damn. The flexibility.
