You’re right, you need to see Move live! In general you need to see Taemin’s whole concert live, it’s just a breathtaking, mesmerizing spectacle and everyone who loves and appreciates Taemin should have this chance and privilege of seeing him in concert at least once! That being said Taemin has so much more to offer musically and choreography-wise than Move. You need to react to Want, Famous, Danger, Thirsty, Drip Drop and many more. As for Koharu Sugawara you should absolutely look her up - she is amazing (well, Taemin works only with the best). Their first collaboration was for his Japanese tracks. She choreographed Sayonara Hitori (his Japanese debut song) and Flame Of Love for him. Both choreos are absolutely unique and incredible and at some point you need to react to these songs. Sayonara Hitori has MV as well as dance practice (two versions - Taemin solo and Taemin and Koharu), they also performed it in Hit The Stage (to the Korean version of the song called Goodbye). Flame Of Love has a performance video (apart from the official one) and you should totally watch it! Koharu is also the one who choreographed Want and SHINee’s Good Evening. So yeah, a lot of amazing stuff ahead of you when it comes to Taemin, brace yourself! :)

The choreographer's name is Sugawara Koharu. She's Japanese and a great friend of Taemin's. She has done his choreography for "Flame of Love", "Sayonara Hitori" (Goodbye), "Want", and SHINee's song, "Good Evening".
That's not manufactured rain btw. They had no idea it was going to rain that day. Taemin got to the set with his hair all done, and while they were shooting, it started pouring. His poor stylist hadn't brought anything other than towels with her, so they just kept wiping Taemin off and left his hair. I read about it in an article.
"Move's" choreo started a whole virus throughout the Kpop world called the "Move Disease". Just about every idol, actor, and variety show host tried to do a cover of this song. No one could pull it off with the control, fluidity and preciseness of Taemin.
If you haven't reacted to his song, "Want", you may want to. It has the same type of dark style as "Move" and minimalistic choreo, but it's a more intricate, difficult dance. The MV doesn't show much of the choreo, but there is a dance practice video you can watch: th-cam.com/video/YQsUhMaNqD4/w-d-xo.html Talk about SMOOOTH! It's "Hot", "Hot", as stated in the chorus of the song...lol. Lot's of MJ inspired themes in the MV as well. The song revolves around the theme of temptation. Taemin is the drug that you will want more and more. He tempts you with his voice, visuals, and magnetic personality. There is also a lot of biblical symbolism in the MV as well. It's a great song and the MV is awesome.
The body control this man has is insane. He can literally pop each individual muscle in his body -- even in his fingers! To see this, watch the Super M Performance Video TenxTaeminxKai. Taemin's part is very short (second one), but it's no wonder. The energy and power required to do what he does in that short dance are astounding. You can feel the force of those hits. On the flip side, to see a really beautiful, elegant choreo, react to Taemin's dance practice for "Sayonara Hitori with Koharu. Taemin practices the dance alone first, then Koharu joins him. After seeing the video of herself dancing with Taemin, Koharu (in her radio show, Sugar Water) called Taemin a "dancer killer" because she felt like retiring. She felt Taemin was a superior dancer and said she was embarrassed. My favorite though is his performance video of "Flame of Love". It is absolutely stunning. I don't know how anyone can dance like that. It's Japanese, so if you choose to react to it, you will need to blip the video or alter the sound for your audience. As someone who likes to dance and watch others, I enjoy the smallest details when it comes to someone's performance, and he killed it in this one! @@V3actions Anything by SMTown is safe. Many people have successfully reacted to his Japanese works under Universal Music Japan by killing the audio for the audience or altering the sound. Most of us are already familiar with these Taemin performances, so we just like to watch you react to them. Another way to avoid copyright strikes is to record your reaction, then cut out small snippets of the MV or live performance footage. This way, Taemin's performance is not streamed completely.

As you probably already know by now, the female dancer who is dancing with Taemin in "Move" is a famous choreographer. She is the one that choreographed the MV. Her name is Sugawara Koharu and she is a very famous Japanese choreographer who has choreographed dances for several Kpop groups, as well as American artists. She has worked with Taemin a lot over the years and she is the one that also choreographed Taemin's dance for his songs "Want" "Flame of Love" and "Sayonara Hitori" and helped choreograph Taemin and her performance on the competition program Hit the Stage -- "Devil" performance, etc. Taemin and Sugawara are really good friends. She was also the choreographer for SHINee's song "Good Evening." and she choreographed the dance for Girls Generation's song "Love&Girls" among others. She loves working with Taemin because his dance style and personality is very similar to her's so they mesh really well together, and that is one of the reasons why she has been featured in several of Taeimin's projects. Plus, Taemin and all the members of SHINee are one of the most famous artists in Japan and they all speak fluent Japanese, so they have no problem communicating through dance or language. :D
You are so right, I don't know how many times I have heard people say after watching "Move", "I don't know why people say Taemin is such a great dancer:" or "This dance doesn't look that hard." But they quickly change their tune if they ever watch any of the dozens of cover performances other idols and Idol groups or other dancers have done for the song. Because no matter how good someone is, it just never compares to the way Taemin moves. There is just something about how Taemin carries himself and the way he can isolate his body that can't be duplicated. There is only one Taemin in this world. So to all those naysayers: Stop dreaming, you can't even come close. ;P
The look and feel for "Move" is very specific, it's supposed to be androgynous and gender neutral. Early in his career when Taemin was growing up in SHINee people often emphasized the fact that he had very feminine features. It took him a long time to accept the fact that he was known for his looks and the fact that everyone thought of him as a "pretty boy," etc. So, at this point in his career as a 24 year old he was trying to make a statement about how he has now come to terms with just being himself and not caring what people think. Dancing is art and movement has no gender.
Taemin has said that he has worked his whole career to be known as the best of the best and he has even said: "I have pushed myself to create my own unique identity that differs from the standard K-pop." His onstage persona is of someone who is an expert at seducing audiences and viewers. However, as is the duality that is Taemin, he is so innocent and shy off stage that he blushes beat red whenever he tries to flirt with someone or even just act cute. LOL
The blue color is supposed to represent the cool chill vibe of the song, but you also should know that SHINee's fan color is aqua blue/green, so you will see a lot of blue/teal/green shades in the things the members of SHINee do. It's used to symbolize the solidarity and connection that they have as group and with their fans.
😍😍 She's so amazing! I've fallen in love with her from one video! And I'm not saying I'm a professional, but I love to dance and watch others, so I knew from the jump this choreo was special! The choreo in itself isn't hard, but to do it as cleanly and sharp as they do it, requires so much body control!

He really embraces his ability to be almost androgynous with his movement. At the same time he is one of the few men who can stand on stage with 6 minimally clothed women and comand your attention at every step. Ultimate bias right here 🙃🙃

Every time I see Taemin I think he's made out of rubber or that silver goop like the advanced terminator. His foot work is amazing but you only see it in his dance practice videos. Want is my favorite.

You should really watch sayonara hitori and flame of love choreo, and dance practice along with koharu. They make an awesome duo. People rarely talk about flame of love song and choreo, but that is fire. That performance video is one of taemin's best one.

I love watching and rooting for taemin he has had a really hard time the past 2years. His bandmate Jonghyun took his own life and shortly after the other 3 bandmates joined the military. Jonghyun died of depression by suicide. No one works harder to stay alive than those like Jonghyun who fight against their own brain and body chemistry every day. It is disrespectful of that fight to say he took his own life. He fought like hell to live. Dpression, an illness which like cancer is often fatal, took his life but he fought like a warrior to the very end.
These warriors, current and past, deserve love and understanding. I look forward to a day when people see deaths caused by depression the way they see those cancer causes. It is the same.

Koharu is a professional choreographer and dancer, she was Rihanna's backup dancer, it's amazing that Taemin can hold his place dancing with her, all shawols love her. She's really great and Taemin himself has said she has helped him improve his dancing.
Here's another dance practice of Taemin with Koharu, the song is Sayonara Hitori and of course she choreographed it. Koharu Sugawara also choreographed Taemins Japanese releases "Sayonara Hitori" and "Flame of Love" and Shinee's Good Evening. They're really good friends and she is so amazing 😍 and effortless! You can really tell that it's choreographed by her she has such a distinct style!
Sayonara Hitori is one of my absolute favorites I convinced my Japanese teacher to have the class sing this song for our monthly song test it's so good 😂

I also took French for two years, learn Spanish from my family and friends, and had a friend teaching me a bit of Russian! I'm going to start brushing up on all three, and start learning some Korean to pass the time!

V3actions wow that’s amazing. Ilokano, Tagalog are my native languages. Learned a bit of Hawaiian as a child but almost forgot all of it 😅 And I taught myself korean. I recommend watching variety shows or kdramas they really helped me pick it up faster. I’m sure you’ll pick up in no time. And it’s really forgiving with it’s grammar 😂 sometimes it seems like no matter how you arrange the words they can still mean the same thing.

Koharu Sugawara she choreographed Taemin Good bye, Move & Want also SHINee's Good Evening ^^ He said that I wanted SHINee members to befriend her so he suggested that she'll do Good Evening choreo also she complimented all of them especially Onew as she adviced him to do contemporary dance...he did have ballet lessons & can tap dance too

You gotta watch his iconic debut Danger and his performance of it in Tokyo dome, his last Korean comeback which was Want and still is a bop, Drip Drop, Press Your Number, Thirsty, Sayonara Hitori, Flame of Love, and Sexuality live, he's my favourite solo artist and he never disappoints! Also his hit the stage performance with the same choreographer, any of his move live performances is great but I love the one he did in Seoul Fashion week, comeback stage or dream concert.

Yup, you have to see this live, and Taemin Performances in general. Though Taemin is in SHINee, he’s also got lots of solo works (same as other SHINee members). Your genuine reaction is great, I can tell you fully appreciate the artistry. I just recently looked up Koharu-san (sorry I'm Japanese and we put 'san' after somebody's name - it's a sign of respect, like putting the title in front of someone's name like Ms. or Mr.) and there are several videos of her dancing at a dance studio, presumably in the states. It's like a dance academy. The admiration from the students are obvious. The one where she dances to Florence and the Machine was pretty cool.

I just always scheduled them to come out at midnight (CST), because YT tracks their watch times, and it's better to upload them when they'll get a full day's worth of time to be watched! And I am pretty much a vampire!
