Fun fact: if you pick up a mortar, it still shoots from the heli but its targeting can’t be changed. Funny how using an ability to give a tower extra range actually reduces it in that case.
Actually carrying the 4-0-0 Sub would be really useful. Because you can build the sub in an out of range water location then have the Heli move it over land and use Lock in Place.
Hey! There is amazing thing about xbrew/stim and dark knight ability. You can stall the range and whole berserkbrew(need further testing), while using the teleport ability „menu”.
you can actually have the heli put down a certain land tower on water. as you may know, the middle path ice monkey allows you to put land towers on water within its radius. the door gunner ability allows you to place a middle path ice monkey on its own wind, which allows it to be on water
As my own test yesterday, pretty much the thing that is not listed the description is heroes and things that can't normally be picked up with support Chinook which I figured was a bit obvious.
I found an interesting interaction with a 2-0-0, advanced intel, sub. I originally thought, before testing, that while the 0-5-0 heli was carry a tower and the 2-0-0 sub was placed far away that the act of the heli carrying the tower near the balloons might trigger the advanced intel. It turns out it sadly doesn’t. However while the balloon was going down the track, regardless of whether or not the heli with the random tower was in range, the 2-0-0 sub would seeming randomly start and stop attacking the balloons (also out of range of itself). I then noticed that the areas the 2-0-0 sub were attacking in was the location of where the random tower was placed before picking it up with the heli. It seems that, for whatever reason, the game remembers where the random tower could see before picking it up.
Are active abilities infinite while in door gunner mode? (For example you could do the monkey fan club alchemist thing and pick him up while he's in cookie monster mode. It'd be interesting to see whether he stays in that mode or not.)
Its a shame, I thought this MK looked cool but when I realized the restrictions on not being able to use t5 it lost a lot of the craziness it could do. So once again, cool in concept, kinda meh in practice. :/
I think this MK is pretty cool but not cool enough because of NK adding some upgrades that make the MK look a little useless and i think players will get bored soon from this update too

I think it's well balanced. It can pick up most, but not all towers. Cutting it off at 4th tier keeps it from being too overpowered as well.
I mean it's only mk not to mention the price, seems pretty balanced to me
I max buffed an overdrive and with door gunner it beat round 150 which seems op but its not realistic

Just retested it on a few different maps. It worked on all of them.

Imagine a regular dart monkey buffed with that and it's permanently buffed from that ability

It can, and when god boosted anything below a bad is like the engi paragon over tier 40, it's permanently stuns almost everything

Testing suggests that 4-2-0 glue gunner is one of the best value for money door gunners.

I got door gunner and there is no extra button but I’m on mobile I’m not sure if that changes it
You have to max out the middle path, and it doesn't work in CHIMPS.

Glaive lord is fifth tier, it can only pick up 4th tier and below
