Map loading times can also vary a lot between computers and you load a map over 10 times in this run, so that's a bigger problem than the steam loading time would ever be.

This is a really cool run idea if optimized to instakill. Because most of the fastest towers are tier fives so you need to play out your towers multiple games in advance.
A big way to optimize this would also involve selling towers that reached all required upgrades to sell them so they can give exp to towers that really need them. Specifically Glaives is an amazing speedrun tower because it can control mass waves and is easy to unlock. It's also relatively cheap, letting you push exp onto other towers. PS: The 2-3-0 Tack is super easy to unlock and is an absolute speedrun boss, and feeds exp into the 2-0-4
I think this could also be optimized by reducing the number of towers leveled. Focusing on as few towers as possible seems most efficient to me, like choosing towers that fill multiple rolls. Boomer is good early game and great moab support, same with tack. Ace or heli is strong late game, have global ramge, and a good solve for military only along with a hero for early game. Obyn+ninja+alch solves abr and magic only, while alch is literally always good. This is a really fun speed run idea. If only there was an efficient way to make new accounts.. a mod would be good

During my last week of school where we did absolutely nothing in every class I downloaded btd6 on my laptop and started a new account, I thought of doing a challenge like this but instead I max upgraded every tower and it was fun, especially since I only played on hard and never the same map, and actually came a bit close with the true sun god and the glue gunner.
One thing I've been really curious about is how long it would take to unlock all the base stuff from a blank profile. By basic stuff I'm meaning, having access to all maps, all base form heroes(skins aren't needed), all monkey knowledge, and all upgrades for all monkeys Obviously that would be a much longer run, but it's something I'm really curious about
All monkey knowledge is the worst one because I believe there is currently exactly enough to max out between regular player levels (not veteran levels, idek if those give MK points) and achievements, and two MK points are tied to rather harsh goals (sub-5-minutes on a race and Sapper, the grindiest achievement in the game).
I have a question to all MK. Do you need to collect all books or just have every MK unlocked? You will have 5 MK books over, even when having every single Knowledge. Also, getting some of them is pure pain, since there are sime achievements that give MKs. Sapper and one of the two 365 days achievements (forgot which one of them)

You should hit start when the game finishes loading or do not count the loading times in the full run time. We don't want hardware differences to affect the final score.
The biggest optimization I can see for this is to use Monkey Money to purchase some powers, such as Camo Traps, Moab Mines, and Cash Drops. Modes such as Apopalypse and Half Cash start up much faster when powers are incorporated.

Druid of the jungle is such a beast in contested territories. If you have box of monkey plus flint tips, you can get a free druid to start plus etienne on tons of maps which ends up being a pretty free win, plus he's an absolute animal in the races

Try do this, but with a boss bloo- I’m kidding.. IM KIDDING. Try do a 1 cross path challenge on a map, doing all gamemodes. If there is 1 impossible level however, you can feel free to skip it. How it works: If you unlock 1 cross path, you stay with that cross path, unless you sell it. Ex: I got a 1-0-0 dart monkey, I can only now get the top path, and the other paths are no longer usable. Rules: -Use only 1 crosspath of 1 monkey. -Hero’s ARE allowed -Any map can be chosen. -No Power ups Optional: -Do any boss bloon under those conditions if you want to
For any people who like spending money on mobile games and you dont have it yet 2x cash is really great there are a few "downsides" which arent really downsides just things that would have made it better so you get double cash from bloons pops on every map and every difficulty exept chimps and boss battles also it doesent work for challenges unless the challenge specifically allows it you also get double starting cash so instead of 650 cash you start with 1300
I think using powers should be allowed in this category, since you're limited at the start with monkey money anyways. It could also make it potentially faster to start with harder modes to get more monkey money.

Only 5 monkeys can be placed. 80 rounds. D.A.R.T (Direct Arts of Right Tracks) - easy. The Bloons go on the best and fastest path. 40 rounds. Also why aren't least tiers, least monkeys, and races a thing for the regular maps?
just a tip for bb no mods speedrunning turn off hints since the account is first time playing. the game will introduce you to every type of bloon wasting seconds

One of the perfect upgrades for speedrun on btd 6 but 50+ 60+ 70+ 80+ 90+ is 4-2-0 sniper monkey 0-5-2 0-2-5 that is destroy moab class bloons very fast and bloons but all of that with alc buff then criple moab then perma brew/p brew/pb/brew master and that combo can solo up to freeplay, yea tbs/the bloon solver/bloon solver can solo up to bad but the only one who still think tbs is very bad moab class bloon damage is hbomb and also tbs is kinda unbalanced because or is the worst upgrade in the game or is to good for that price and the most is needed is to be very good I say very good because to incrised the price to 37k or 32k.

I think if you click or tap a 0:01 time stamp it skips the starting ad and you teleport straight to the video

To be clear once round 4 or 5 hits in the tuatorial you can skip it in settings.

Engineer is a very good tower for speed running because of the ultra boost,overclock,bloon trap,xxl trap,sentry expert and sentry champion

There is a challenge called one solution but I found 3... for now: plasma accelerator, blade maelstrom in the end andtech terror with plasma blasts
I always start with getting full upgrade glue then move to tack, they are some of the best earlygame and ive used then to solo most maps

I think you should’ve used dartling gunner during the run to save time as he is the perfect tower for monkey meadows.
He can’t unlock him without a tonnn of pops so he did not have dartling
