Ah thank you for being so thorough! I finally understand how to do the turning chain. No other video explained how work into the turning chain. This is an excellent video.

This video is immensely helpful. I made a full queen sized bed blanket for my husband 12 years ago, which was lost (along with everything else) in a catastrophic wildfire. I decided to remake it but couldn’t remember the start after the first chain is completed, or the row transition. You answered both of those questions very clearly. I am most grateful. Thank you! ❤️

I really appreciate you explaining how to double crochet so thoroughly. You are one of the only tutorials I have been able to find that explains how to finish each row, which is where I was dropping stitches and couldn't figure out why! Thank you!

Such a nice voice very easy to follow along. Most people I end up getting really frustrated with because they aren’t clear, have an annoying voice, or don’t go slow enough. This was perfect. I skipped a couple stitches, but this was the closest I’ve gotten!

I am going to look 4 more of your beginner tutorials & sub..I love how perfect ur pace is & well u show & describe what 2 do,becuz it is really helping me 2 catch on better & keep up. I have ADD & it can get so confusing & intimidating when watching a video where some1 goes 2 fast &/or leaves out certain tips that help us understand what 2 do & why. This video made me feel really comfortable w/what I was doing while following along instead of questioning what I was doing wrong like I have w/others b4 this,lol...

Thanks for the video. You explain it very well. I needed to understand why I was getting less and less stitches as I went up! LOL I wasn't working the last stitch on the turning chain. I'd work the very last st and chain to turn. I'm a knitter and I'm a very basic crocheter so I don't usually crochet a lot. I'm working on a beautiful DC blanket with super bulky yarn and I had to frog a few rows... anyways, your video helped me a lot. thanks and keep the good work! ;)

I was annoyed through the video that the term ‘yarn around hook’ was being used instead of “yarn over” because the mention of different patterns call out different counts, etc. annoyed because never, is YO different. However, I gave the video a thumbs up because the last dc explanation is appreciated.
