One thing I love about this speaker is that the notification sounds from your phone are completely separate meaning if you get a text message or a DM then it won’t sound off on the speaker and ruin your listening experience. Its not a big deal but its a minor detail that I really appreciate about this product. Its better than the Bose Soundlink Micro and costs 40% cheaper.
We had a 1st gen Echo in our master bathroom for listening to music in the morning th-cam.com/users/postUgkxABghAEkaIDGZfHRBH3D3rBrlraNmnC71 and while in the shower. I didn't realize how tinny and awful the sound output on the original Echo was until we replaced it with the Studio. It was a sonic upgrade far beyond what I was expecting. Just wow. I love it because it's like having speakers IN the shower. My friend likes it because the music is so loud that she can no longer hear me singing. So that's a win-win.
Hi i was just wondering how loud can it get, I'm debating on buying it or not, but i need to know how loud can it get, cause I'm looking for a soeaker like that
Thanks for making this comprehensive review! I just ordered this speaker using my rewards points (expiring soon!) from my mobile phone network provider and didn't expect much from it as I just wanted a bluetooth speaker I could take in the shower esp when I am listening to podcasts. Now, I am excited and looking forward to getting my JBL speaker. Yay!
I'm finally upgrading my portable Bluetooth speaker... this looks sweet for the price... I'm giving my 808 tube speaker to my daughter. It's a nice speaker and it sounds nice for the age of it.
When it comes to mid sized portable BT speakers I usually go for soundcore but I'm about to give the go 3 a try since it seems pretty good for the size/price since I'm about to work on a construction crew I don't wanna damage my soundcore select pro...
I actually got them all from TH-cam's Audio Library 1. Cold Water - Patrick Patrikios 2. That One Bar Scene - RKVC 3. Much Higher - Causmic 4. Book The Rental Wit It - Rage 5. Come Vibe With Me - Patrick Patrikios
@@CEONTHEMAKING dont u love that because people show em radiator "bass tests" online people think every jbl speaker is like subwoofer :D but yeah for it's size and price it has reasonable bass
Great review, man! I've had two JBL GO 2 speakers that both stopped working suddenly, and I am now using one of the small Sony Bluetooth speakers, but I'll definitely buy the GO 3 at some point. For the price, the quality is fantastic, and it is pretty much all I need in my daily usage :-) Keep up the good work!
Thank you! I think this is a great buy considering the price. I would want the bose microsound link ($99) as I’ve played with it in person and I’m blown away. But i guess this jbl go 3 comes close too?
@@MervinAbi i haven't heard the bose but the go3 is very clear ... Especially at full volume, no distrotion ... If there's distortion, ur holding a fake in ur hands
You should do a review of the Tribit Stormbox Micro, and then another doing a comparison to this speaker since they are both really similar in terms of size. Honestly, its kinda a no Brainer if you've seen the reviews for it, I'm just saying, I'd rather see your video on it :). It is funny tho that this speaker is rated at only 4.2 watts (i honestly didn't know they had bluetooth speakers rated under 5) and cost $40, where as I only paid $33 for my tibit stormbox micro (because i bought 2 to take advantage of the deal), and it's rated at 9 watts lol. Jbl is one of those hit or miss companies lol. Sometimes they do things right, and other times it's like: "really JBL? What were smoking this time?" Lol.😆

I love mine! I’ve had it for a month and a half and I think it’s worth every penny
When on it's back at 75% volume, does it still wobble?

Would this be good for skiing?
My go 3 makes kind of a static (cracking noise) when on max volume is my speaker defective or is it normal at high volume
Definitely defective or fake

Yes
Buying this speaker but wanted to do some research first and came across this dudes video and I dig this dudes vibe. Chill. Honest.

Does the bass compare to a Bose speaker? Like the smallest Bluetooth from Bose?
good question.. I'll have to see if I can get my hands on one and find out
